  • Wireless crane remote control | 2 buttons + START, magnetic key | 1 speed | 24–440 V AC/DC | IP65 | EL-F21-2S-TX

    Code: EL-F21-2S-TX

    Compact single-axis radio remote: ▲, ▼, START and a magnetic safety key in a 130×45 mm transmitter. 24–440 V AC/DC IP65 receiver – for hoisting or a winch without a trolley.

  • Wireless hoist remote EL-F21-2S-TX – ▲ / ▼ + START, 24–440 V AC/DC receiver

EL-F21-2S-TX is the simplest radio remote for one motion axis: raising and lowering. The transmitter command reaches the receiver by radio, and its relays energise the hoist-up or hoist-down contactor coil.

    Key point:
When a machine has only one movement, a 6- or 10-button remote is unnecessary. Three buttons and a magnetic safety key mean fewer mistakes and a smaller transmitter, while the universal receiver suits any 24–440 V AC/DC control circuit.

    How it works

The IP65 receiver is mounted on the hoist or winch and supplied with the control circuit voltage (24–440 V AC/DC). Two direction relays go into the up and down contactor coil circuits, the MAIN relay into the KM0 circuit.

START energises the MAIN relay. While ▲ or ▼ is held, the matching relay is on. Removing the magnetic key switches the transmitter off, and on loss of link the receiver must drop the MAIN relay. The transmitter monitors battery voltage and switches off when it drops.

The operator lifts the load standing where the hook is best visible, not next to a cable. The key allows a quick shutdown and keeps unauthorised people from using the remote.

    Why choose EL-F21-2S-TX?
The smallest remote in this series for one axis, with a universal receiver and IP65. Suitable for replacing a 2-button pendant or operating a winch from a distance.

    Main functions

    • ▲ / ▼ buttons – raising and lowering
    • START – the main contactor is switched on by a deliberate action
    • Magnetic safety key – quick transmitter shut-off, protection against unauthorised use
    • Battery monitoring – the transmitter switches off at low voltage
    • 24–440 V AC/DC IP65 receiver – mounted on the machine
    • 130×45 mm transmitter – fits in a pocket

How does it differ from similar models?

    • ES-F21-2S+ – Also 2 direction buttons, but with a mushroom STOP button.
    • ES-ML-K2 – 2 buttons, 868 MHz, 230 V AC receiver, IP66 – when the control circuit is 230 V AC.
    • LCC-202 – 2 two-step buttons – for 2-speed hoisting.
    • ES-F21-E1-TX – 6 direction buttons + START/STOP – for a 3-axis crane.

    Where is it used?

    • Electric hoists without a trolley
    • Construction winches
    • Goods lifts in warehouses and farms
    • Small lifting beams in workshops
    • Replacing a 2-button pendant

    Use by need

    For the electrician
Only two direction relays and MAIN – quick wiring; the universal receiver suits 24 V, 230 V or 400 V coils.
    For a manufacturing plant
Lifting from a convenient spot without a pendant cable; the key limits use to trained staff.
For a construction site / warehouse
A winch or lift operated up to ~100 m in open space; the IP65 receiver copes with outdoor conditions.

    Practical use

If a construction-site winch with 230 V AC contactors is run from a pendant, supply the receiver with 230 V AC, wire the ▲ and ▼ relays into the up and down coil circuits with an NC interlock, and the MAIN relay into KM0. The upper limit switch stays in the circuit.

    Pros

    • Only the buttons you need – fewer mistakes
    • Magnetic safety key
    • Battery voltage monitoring
    • Universal 24–440 V AC/DC IP65 receiver
    • Compact 130×45 mm transmitter

    Cons / limitations

    • One axis only – for bridge and trolley choose ES-F21-E1-TX.
    • No mushroom STOP button – if required, choose ES-F21-2S+.
    • Single speed – for 2-speed hoisting, LCC-202 with a 2-speed motor or frequency inverter.

    Safety and installation notes

    • The receiver relays switch the contactor coils, not the motor directly – relay contacts are for the control circuit only.
    • The receiver supply voltage must match the control circuit (coil) voltage; range 24–440 V AC/DC.
    • Wire the STOP / MAIN relay so that it drops out the main contactor KM0. Loss of radio link must stop the crane (EN 60204-32) – test this during commissioning.
    • Limit switches (SQ) and the NC interlock between opposite directions stay in the circuit – the radio remote does not replace them.
    • For crane repairs, apply LOTO on the main isolator. The STOP button is not isolation from the supply.
    • At commissioning, check that removing the magnetic key or switching the transmitter off makes the receiver drop the MAIN relay and the movement stops.

    Quick selection guide

    ▲ / ▼ + START
    Magnetic key
    24–440 V AC/DC
    IP65 receiver

    Check before ordering:

    • Contactor coil voltage is within 24–440 V AC/DC and equals the receiver supply.
    • Radio frequency of the set (EU SRD bands – 433 / 868 MHz) – check that the frequency is permitted in your country.
    • Whether one axis and one speed are enough, and whether a key instead of a mushroom STOP is acceptable.

    FAQ

Can the receiver be connected directly to the motor?
No. The receiver relays drive the contactor coils and the contactors switch the motor – exactly as with a pendant control.
What happens if the radio link is lost?
The receiver must drop the MAIN relay and the main contactor so the crane stops (EN 60204-32). Test it at commissioning by switching the transmitter off during a movement.
Which control voltage can be used?
    The receiver is supplied with 24–440 V AC/DC, so it suits 24 V, 48 V, 110 V, 230 V or 400 V control circuits. Receiver supply must equal the coil voltage.
How does the magnetic key work?
The key sits at the bottom of the transmitter; removing it switches the transmitter off. This stops work quickly and keeps unauthorised people from using the remote.
Can it control a crane with a trolley?
    No – the remote has only ▲ and ▼. A 3-axis crane needs ES-F21-E1-TX or F21-E1B-TX.
What happens when the battery runs low?
The transmitter monitors battery voltage and switches off when it drops; on loss of signal the receiver must drop the MAIN relay.
