Crane radio remote: 2 transmitters, 18 buttons, 433 MHz, IP65
ES-Q1800 is a wireless crane control set of two transmitters and one receiver. Each transmitter has 18 direction buttons (2 × 9) plus START/STOP. The transmitter sends the command by radio, the receiver relays energise the contactor coils, and the contactors switch the motors.
Key point:
18 buttons means 9 button pairs: enough for a crane with two hoists, trolley, bridge and extra functions. The second transmitter lets you operate the crane from another zone or keep a spare remote ready.Transmitters

IP65How it works
Mount the receiver on the crane next to the control panel. Its supply must match the control circuit voltage, and the relay contacts are wired into the contactor coil circuits – each button pair controls the two directions of one mechanism.
START energises the main contactor KM0, STOP opens it. On loss of radio link the receiver must open KM0 and the crane stops (EN 60204-32) – test this with both transmitters.
The operator controls all crane mechanisms from one remote up to ~100 m away in open space, while the second transmitter waits in another zone or charges via USB.
Why choose ES-Q1800?
One receiver with two multi-button transmitters – no second set needed when several shifts operate the crane. USB charging removes the need to change batteries.Technical specifications
Product type Wireless crane remote control Model ES-Q1800 Set contents 2 transmitters + 1 receiver Buttons 18 direction buttons (2 × 9) + START + STOP on each transmitter Speeds 1 Radio frequency 433 MHz Operating range up to ~100 m in open space Transmitter power supply Battery, USB-rechargeable Antennas Internal Housing Reinforced nylon, silicone Protection class IP65 Main functions
- 2 transmitters for one receiver – control from two places or a spare remote
- 18 buttons – 9 direction pairs for several mechanisms and extra functions
- START / STOP – switching the main contactor on and off
- 433 MHz – EU SRD band
- USB charging – no battery changes
- Internal antennas, IP65 – no protruding parts, protected against dust and water jets
How does it differ from similar models?
- F21-2S-b3ce – also 2 transmitters + receiver, but 6 channels and IP66 – for simpler cranes
- ES-E1738-315B – 2 transmitters with an open-board receiver, 315 MHz – for gates and small winches
- ES-24-12S – 1 transmitter with 12 buttons – when fewer functions and one remote are enough
Where is it used?
- Overhead cranes with two hoists
- Gantry cranes with extra functions (slewing, grab, magnet)
- Workshops where several shifts operate the crane
- Warehouses and storage yards
- Crane upgrades replacing a multi-button pendant
Use by need
For electricians
one receiver, one mounting point – two multi-button remotesFor manufacturers
the second transmitter cuts downtime when one is charging or lostFor construction / warehouse yards
IP65 and internal antennas – less damage on sitePractical use
If an overhead crane has a main and auxiliary hoist, trolley and bridge, then 8 button pairs cover all directions and the ninth is left for a horn or lighting. When one shift finishes, its transmitter goes on charge and the next shift works with its own.Pros
- 2 transmitters in the set
- 18 buttons for multi-mechanism cranes
- 433 MHz – EU SRD band
- USB charging
- IP65 and internal antennas
Cons / limitations
- Single speed only – for 2-speed control choose ES-24-12D
- Operating range up to ~100 m – for longer distances choose another model
- The receiver version must be chosen to match the control circuit voltage
- 18 buttons are too many for a simple hoist – ES-21-4S or ES-F21-4SE fit better
Safety and installation notes
- Receiver relays switch only contactor coils – never pass motor current through them.
- Receiver supply voltage must match the control circuit and coil voltage.
- STOP opens the main contactor KM0; loss of link must stop the crane (EN 60204-32).
- Organise work so that only one operator controls the crane at a time.
- Limit switches (SQ) and NC interlocking of opposite directions remain in the circuit.
- Before installation or servicing – LOTO on the main isolator.
Quick selection guide
2 transmitters18 buttons433 MHzIP65Check before ordering:
- When ordering, state the control circuit (contactor coil) voltage – the receiver version is selected to match it.
- How many mechanisms and directions you need to control: 18 buttons = 9 direction pairs, 1 speed.
- Whether you need a second transmitter – if not, choose a single-transmitter model such as ES-24-12S.
FAQ
How many transmitters are included?
Two transmitters and one receiver. Both transmitters control the same receiver. Can both transmitters be used at the same time?
We do not recommend it. Organise work so one operator controls the crane and the other transmitter is switched off.How are the transmitters charged?
Via USB. It is practical to keep one transmitter in use and the other on charge. What is the operating range?
Up to ~100 m in open space. In halls with steel structures the range is shorter. What receiver voltage is it?
The receiver version is selected to match the crane control circuit voltage – state it when ordering. Can a motor be connected directly to the receiver?
No. The receiver relays switch contactor coils; motor current is switched by contactors with overload protection.ES-Q1800 – two multi-button remotes for one crane
2 transmitters with 18 buttons + START/STOP each and one receiver, 433 MHz, IP65, USB charging. State the control circuit voltage when ordering.
