  • Wireless crane remote control | 4 buttons + START/STOP | 1 speed | 868 MHz | 230 V AC | modular receiver | ES-LD-BC4

    Code: ES-LD-BC4

Radio kit with 4 direction buttons, START and STOP and a modular 230 V AC receiver – a board with relays and terminals mounted in an enclosure or panel. 868 MHz link, −35…+75 °C.

  • Wireless remote ES-LD-BC4 – 4 buttons, 868 MHz, modular 230 V AC receiver

ES-LD-BC4 is a radio control kit with 4 direction buttons (up / down / east / west), START and STOP, and a modular receiver – an open board with relays and terminals. The transmitter sends the command over 868 MHz and the receiver relays switch the contactor coils. The board has no housing, so it is mounted in a sealed enclosure or control panel.

    Key point:
ES-LD-BC4 fits where it is easier to install the receiver in an existing panel than to mount a separate housing. The 4 direction buttons control two motions, e.g. winch hoisting and trolley travel, and the 230 V AC supply is taken from the same control circuit.

    How it works

The board is fixed in a sealed enclosure or control panel and supplied with 230 V AC. Direction relays are wired into the contactor coil circuit; the main contactor, emergency stop switch, limit switches and NC interlocking of opposite directions stay in the circuit.

Pressing START activates the receiver and the direction buttons start working. While a button is held, the relay for that direction is on; when released, the motion stops. STOP switches off the receiver relays; on loss of the radio link the machine must stop – verify this during commissioning.

The operator controls the machine from a safe spot, and the installer fits the receiver into an existing panel – no separate receiver housing to mount.

    Why choose ES-LD-BC4?
The ES-LD-BC4 board takes little space (95 × 105 mm) and runs directly on 230 V AC. The installer gets a relay output for each direction without an extra receiver housing.

    Main functions

    • 4 direction buttons – up / down / east / west, single speed
    • START – the system is enabled only by a deliberate action
    • STOP – switches off the receiver relays
    • 868 MHz radio – EU SRD band, 150 m, up to ~250 m in open space
    • Modular 230 V AC receiver – the board fits into an existing enclosure or panel
    • Battery-powered transmitter – no cables, no charger
    • −35…+75 °C – wide operating temperature range

How does it differ from similar models?

    • ES-LD-BC2 – 2 buttons (up / down) – when one motion is enough
    • ES-ML-K4 – 4 buttons, receiver in IP66 housing – for cranes and outdoor work
    • AK-C211008 – 4 buttons, 433 MHz modular receiver
    • ES-F21-4SE – 4 buttons, housed 12–440 V AC/DC receiver, IP65

    Where is it used?

    • Gates, barriers and lifting doors
    • Small electric winches
    • Lifts and lifting platforms
    • Conveyors and other on/off drives
    • Retrofitting existing panels – radio control instead of push buttons
    • Hoists – together with an additional safety circuit

    Use by need

    For the electrician
the board fits into an existing panel and the relay outputs replace wired push buttons
    For a manufacturing plant
radio control for small machines without a separate receiver housing
For a construction site / warehouse
remote control of gates, winches or lifts: 150 m, up to ~250 m in open space

    Practical use

If a small winch with a trolley is controlled by 230 V AC contactors from a wall box, the ES-LD-BC4 board is fitted into that box: ▲▼ control hoisting, east / west control trolley travel, and the emergency stop and limit switches stay in the circuit.

    Pros

    • Modular receiver – fits into an existing panel
    • 4 buttons – two motions from one remote
    • 230 V AC receiver – no separate power supply
    • 868 MHz – EU SRD band
    • Operating temperature −35…+75 °C

    Cons / limitations

    • Receiver without housing – a separate IP enclosure or panel is required
    • For cranes only with an additional safety circuit; otherwise choose ES-ML-K4 (IP66 housing)
    • Single speed only – for a two-speed drive choose ES-21-4D
    • 230 V AC receiver – for another control voltage choose ES-F21-4SE

    Safety and installation notes

    • The receiver relays switch contactor coils only – motor current must never flow through them.
    • The board has no housing – install it in a sealed IP enclosure or panel to keep out moisture and dust and to make the 230 V terminals inaccessible.
    • Provide the main contactor and emergency stop circuit separately; during commissioning check that the machine stops when the transmitter is switched off or the link is lost (EN 60204-32).
    • Limit switches (SQ) and NC interlocking of opposite directions stay in the circuit – the radio remote does not replace them.
    • On cranes and heavy lifting equipment the modular receiver is used only with an additional safety circuit.
    • Before installation or repair, switch off and lock the main isolator (LOTO).

    Quick selection guide

    4 buttons + START/STOP
    868 MHz
    230 V AC
    Modular receiver

    Check before ordering:

    • The receiver is supplied with 230 V AC – contactor coils must be 230 V AC; for another control voltage choose a model with a 12–440 V AC/DC receiver.
    • 868 MHz is an EU SRD band; if used outside the EU, check that the frequency is permitted there.
    • 4 buttons control two motions (e.g. hoisting and travel) – for a third axis choose a 6-button remote.

    FAQ

Can ES-LD-BC4 be connected directly to the motor?
No. The receiver relays are for the control circuit: they switch the contactor coils, and the contactors switch the motor.
What receiver supply voltage is needed?
The receiver runs on 230 V AC, 50–60 Hz, so it suits contactor coils rated 230 V AC. For another control voltage choose a model with a 12–440 V AC/DC receiver, e.g. ES-F21-4SE.
What happens if the radio link is lost?
The receiver must de-energise the main contactor and the machine stops. Test this function during commissioning, before handing the equipment over for use.
Can it control a two-speed hoist?
    No – ES-LD-BC4 has single-step buttons. For a two-speed drive choose ES-21-4D with two-step buttons.
Can the receiver be installed outdoors?
Only in a sealed IP enclosure – the board has no housing and is not protected against moisture and dust.
Is it suitable for an overhead crane?
The modular receiver is meant for simpler machines – gates, small winches, lifts. A crane needs an additional safety circuit, or choose a housed receiver such as ES-ML-K4.

    Who is ES-LD-BC4 for?

ES-LD-BC4 is a 4-button radio kit with a modular 230 V AC receiver that fits into an existing enclosure or panel. Choose it for gates, small winches and lifts where a receiver housing is not needed.
