  • Wireless Nurse Call System | 433.92 MHz | up to 400 call buttons | for hospitals and elderly care facilities

Modular wireless nurse call system designed for hospital wards, nurse stations, corridors, elderly care homes and long-term care facilities. The system operates at 433.92 MHz and allows patients to send calls using wireless buttons to central displays, wearable watches, light indicators and other system receivers. One receiver can operate with up to 400 wireless call buttons.

    Main idea

The system allows a patient or resident to send an assistance signal with a single button press, while staff can see the call number, location or service type on the central display, corridor indicator or wearable watch. Wireless communication allows the system to be installed without signal cables between call buttons and receivers.

    Operating principle

A wireless call button is installed in the patient room, near the bed, in the bathroom or another required location. When the patient presses CALL, SOS or another configured button, a 433.92 MHz radio signal is transmitted to the system receivers.

Depending on the system configuration, the signal can be displayed on the nurse station screen, double-sided corridor display, desktop receiver, colour light indicator or wearable nurse watch.

What are the advantages of a wireless system?

No signal cables need to be installed between patient call buttons and the main receivers. This allows more flexible installation in existing hospitals, nursing facilities and elderly care centres.

    Limitations

    • The actual wireless range inside a building depends on walls and other obstacles.
    • Different system components use different supply voltages.
    • Additional signal repeaters may be required in large facilities.
    • Not all functions are available on every receiver or button variant.
    • Software functions require the corresponding system components.

    Safety and installation notes

    • Before installation, plan the locations of buttons, displays and receivers, and check wireless communication quality in the actual building.
    • Patient call buttons should be installed in easily accessible locations.
    • Use dedicated button variants in bathrooms and sanitary rooms.
    • Regularly check the condition of battery-powered call buttons.
    • In large or structurally complex buildings, use signal repeaters if required for sufficient communication coverage.
    • Before commissioning, check the operation of all CALL, CANCEL, SOS and other configured functions.
