Three-phase multifunction energy meter | 100 A | 3×230/400 V | 4-wire | LED display | IP66 | TAX-VWM3P-100A-380V
TAX-VWM3P-100A-380V – three-phase "TAXNELE" panel-mounted multifunction meter, displaying voltage, current, frequency, power and consumed energy (kWh) in a four-wire 3×230/400 V network up to 100 A. Designed for mounting in the front panel of distribution boards, control cabinets and generator panels, where the real load and energy balance need to be seen at a glance, including for solar installations and ATS systems.
Key idea:
This is a monitoring instrument, not a billing meter – its value lies in class 0.1 accuracy, bidirectional metering and an IP66-protected ABS front, at the price of a panel-mounted meter. It is designed for situations where an operator needs to see every network parameter at a glance: starting up equipment, balancing phases, tracking a PV inverter's output or a generator's load. It has no MID certificate or communication interface, so a different type of instrument is needed for billing or SCADA integration.Measuring current

class 0.1; 50–60 HzProtection rating and mounting
IP66; panel-mounted, 72 x 98 mmHow it works
The meter is connected to a three-phase four-wire system (L1, L2, L3, N): voltage is measured between each phase and neutral, while current up to 100 A per phase flows through internal measuring circuits directly, without external current transformers. The rated measuring current is 10 A, the maximum 100 A, which the manufacturer denotes as 3 x 10(100) A. The instrument is powered at 380 V AC from the same measured circuit.
A microprocessor calculates power and frequency from the voltage and current, and integrates energy into a kWh register. The calculation is bidirectional: when a solar inverter feeds energy into the grid, the meter records the flow in the opposite direction, so the true balance of generation and consumption is visible. Every parameter is shown on a bright LED display, which remains legible in a poorly lit technical room or an outdoor cabinet, while the IP66 front protects against dust and water jets.
What makes the TAX-VWM3P-100A-380V worthwhile?
A single 72 x 98 mm instrument replaces three voltmeters, three ammeters, a frequency meter and a kWh meter in the panel door. Class 0.1 accuracy and bidirectional calculation allow it to be used not only for indicative monitoring but also for energy audits or checking a PV system's balance, while operation from -10 to +65 °C also suits hot cabinets housing generators.Technical specifications

- Every parameter on one display – U, I, frequency, power and kWh for each phase, with no additional instruments.
- Class 0.1 accuracy – accuracy suitable for audits and equipment commissioning, not just indicative readings.
- Bidirectional energy calculation – shows both the energy fed back and the energy consumed by a solar installation or generator.
- Direct connection up to 100 A – no current transformers, fewer terminals and errors.
- IP66 front – resistant to dust and water jets, suitable for outdoor and production cabinets.
- 50 and 60 Hz networks – a universal instrument for exported equipment and generators.
Where is it used?
- Front panels of distribution boards and control cabinets
- Monitoring the output balance of solar-installation inverters
- Generator and ATS (automatic transfer switch) panels
- Local load display at electric-vehicle charging stations
- Three-phase boards in workshops and homes with heat pumps or compressors
- Equipment start-up and diagnostic test benches
- Energy monitoring and phase-balance control for industrial equipment
- Temporary measurement points for energy audits
Use by need
For the domestic user.
Fitted in the door of a home or workshop board, the meter shows how much the heat pump, cooker and compressor draw together, whether the phases are evenly loaded, and how much more the solar installation fed back over the day than was consumed – with no apps or gateways needed.For businesses and industry.
In production cabinets the IP66 front withstands dust and washdown, while class 0.1 allows machine consumption to be compared before and after maintenance. On generator and ATS panels, an operator sees frequency, voltage and load at a glance – the basis for switching to standby safely.For electricians / engineers.
Check three things: phase current ≤ 100 A (a larger load needs a CT-type meter), a four-wire system with a neutral (this model does not measure 3P3W without a neutral), and enough room in the panel door for a 72 x 98 mm instrument with terminals at the rear. For remote monitoring or billing, choose a DIN meter with RS485 and MID.Practical example
In a workshop with a 10 kW solar installation and a 63 A three-phase incomer, the meter is fitted into the panel door. At midday the display shows the inverter feeding back around 8.5 kW (about 12 A per phase), while the workshop load is 3 kW – the remaining 5.5 kW goes to the grid. When a 7.5 kW compressor starts, the meter immediately shows that phase L2 draws 18 A while L1 draws only 9 A, and the installer rebalances the single-phase loads. Without such an instrument, the phase imbalance would only have been noticed once a breaker tripped.
Pros
- Class 0.1 accuracy – suitable for professional monitoring and audits.
- Bidirectional calculation – shows the balance of PV generation and consumption.
- IP66 front – for dusty and damp locations.
- Compact panel format – 72 x 98 mm instead of several instruments.
- Bright LED display – legible in a dark room.
- ABS housing – resistant to impact and temperature swings.
Cons / limitations
- No RS485, Wi-Fi or other communication – remote monitoring or SCADA needs a different instrument.
- No MID certificate – not suitable for billing tenants or a supplier.
- Direct measurement only up to 100 A – larger industrial loads need a CT version.
- Four-wire systems only – not suitable for a three-wire network without a neutral.
- Panel mounting requires a cut-out in the panel door – it does not mount on a DIN rail.
Safety and installation notes
- Install only after switching off the incomer and confirming there is no voltage present – the terminals carry 400 V and up to 100 A.
- A protective device is required upstream of the meter – the instrument does not provide a protective function.
- For the 100 A circuit, select conductors and lugs of a suitable cross-section, tighten the terminals to the specified torque, and check them after the first load.
- Follow the phase and neutral connection diagram – an incorrect sequence distorts the power and energy readings.
- IP66 applies only to the front section, fitted with its gasket – the rear terminals must remain inside the board.
- Operating temperature -10…+65 °C – plan heating for colder outdoor cabinets.

IP66; panel-mounted, 72 x 98 mmSuitable when you need:- local display of every three-phase network parameter in the panel door, up to 100 A;
- monitoring the energy balance of PV or a generator without a communication interface;
- an IP66-rated meter resistant to dusty or damp environments.
Check before use:- whether remote reading (RS485 / Wi-Fi) or MID metering is not required;
- whether the phase current stays within 100 A;
- whether the system is four-wire with a neutral;
