    EL-TVPS3-80T is a three-phase, four-wire modular smart meter with a built-in protection relay and Wi-Fi control via the "Smart Life" / "TUYA" app. It measures energy in both directions, monitors voltage, current and phase condition, and automatically disconnects the load when set limits are exceeded. DIN rail mounted, with an adjustable current limit of 1–80 A.

    one module does three jobs – it counts kilowatt-hours, protects equipment against voltage surges, phase loss and imbalance, and lets you switch the load on or off remotely from your phone. This is especially useful for country houses, workshops, farms and rental properties where the owner is not always on site.

    Operating principle

    The module is mounted in the distribution board on a DIN rail and connected in series with the three-phase circuit (L1, L2, L3, N). It contains a measuring circuit and a power relay capable of disconnecting all three phases.

    The device continuously monitors voltage, current, power and frequency on each phase, as well as imported and exported energy. If the voltage rises above or falls below the set limit, a phase is lost, the phase sequence is wrong, voltage or current imbalance occurs, or the current limit or temperature is exceeded, the relay disconnects the load. Once the voltage returns to normal, the load can be reconnected automatically after a set delay.

    All data and events are visible in the app over Wi-Fi. This is where you set protection limits, timers, countdown, cyclic modes and cost tracking; voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant is supported.

    Safety and installation notes

    • The neutral must be connected – without N the device will measure phase voltages incorrectly.
    • After installation, set the protection limits to suit the protected equipment rather than leaving the factory defaults.
    • Do not set the current protection above 80 A, even if the app allows a higher value – the device's rated current is 80 A.
    • Check the Wi-Fi signal at the panel location; if it is weak, use a repeater.
    • In motor circuits, additionally use a motor protection circuit breaker or thermal overload relay.
