Three-phase Tuya Wi-Fi smart bi-directional energy meter with protections | 3 CT up to 120 A | RS485 | DIN | EARU EASEM-G-TY-W
EARU EASEM-G-TY-W is a three-phase smart energy meter and network protection module in one DIN housing. Current is measured with three split-core current transformers (CT) up to 120 A, energy is metered in both directions, and data is sent in real time to the Tuya Smart app via Wi-Fi.
Key point:
The meter is installed without cutting power cables – the CTs clip onto the phase conductors. It shows how much energy is consumed and how much is exported to the grid, and in case of overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent or leakage it commands a contactor via its relay output to disconnect the load.Current measurement

Bi-directional (import / export)Communication
Tuya Wi-Fi + RS485Mounting
35 mm DIN rail, 73 mmOperating principle
The meter is mounted on a DIN rail in the distribution board. Voltage is measured directly via terminals V1, V2, V3 and Vn, and phase currents via three split-core CTs clipped onto the L1, L2 and L3 conductors. The device itself is powered via terminals L and N, so power cables do not need to be disconnected.
Based on CT direction, the meter separates energy imported from the grid and exported to it, making it suitable for solar and hybrid systems. The colour display shows kWh, power (kW), voltage (V), current (A), power factor (PF), frequency (Hz) and leakage current (mA).
When set limits are reached, the relay output (RO/R1) switches and controls an external contactor or shunt trip. Leakage current is measured via a separate residual current transformer connected to terminals IB1/IB2. Data and alerts are sent to the Tuya Smart app, and the RS485 interface (A/B) allows connection to other systems.
Why EASEM-G-TY-W?
One module replaces a separate three-phase meter, voltage relay and leakage monitor – and everything can be viewed and controlled from a phone.Technical specifications

- Bi-directional metering – see consumed and exported energy separately.
- Split-core CT measurement – installation without disconnecting or rerouting power cables.
- Voltage and current protection – the relay output disconnects the load via a contactor when set limits are exceeded.
- Leakage monitoring – with a residual current transformer it displays and monitors leakage in mA.
- Tuya Smart app – real-time data, history, alerts and remote relay control.
- RS485 interface – option to connect to other control or monitoring systems.
- Colour display – main parameters visible in the board without a phone.
Where is it used?
- Three-phase main boards in houses and homesteads
- Solar power plant production and export monitoring
- Hybrid systems with batteries
- Small commercial sites, shops, workshops
- Farms and farm buildings with three-phase loads
- Rented premises – remote consumption control
- Upgraded old boards with no space for a direct-connected meter
Use by need
For solar plant owners.
See on the phone how much was produced, self-consumed and exported. For electricians.
Install metering and protection in one module without interrupting the power circuit. For facility managers.
Receive alerts on voltage faults and leakage and disconnect the load remotely.Practical application
If a homestead has a 10 kW solar plant and a three-phase supply, the CTs are clipped onto the incoming phase conductors and the relay output is wired to the load contactor coil. The app then shows actual consumption and export, and if the neutral is lost or voltage rises above the set limit, the contactor automatically disconnects sensitive equipment.Pros
- Three-phase bi-directional metering
- Split-core CT installation without cutting power cables
- Voltage, current and leakage protection functions
- Relay output for contactor control
- Tuya Wi-Fi and RS485 communication
- Colour display with main parameters
- Low self-consumption (≤ 1.5 W)
Cons / limitations
- The relay does not switch the power circuit directly – a contactor or shunt trip is required
- Leakage measurement requires a residual current transformer
- No MID certificate – not for billing
- Remote monitoring requires stable Wi-Fi at the board
- For currents above 120 A choose the 200, 300, 500, 750, 1000 A CT version
Safety and installation notes
- Installation must be done by a qualified electrician with voltage disconnected and verified absent.
- Protect the voltage measuring terminals (V1–V3, Vn) and supply (L, N) with circuit breakers or fuses.
- Clip each CT onto the correct phase following the arrow direction – otherwise bi-directional metering will be wrong.
- Connect each CT to its own I1, I2, I3 terminals and do not mix up phase order.
- Connect the relay contact only to the contactor coil or shunt trip control circuit, never to the power circuit.
- Do not install the meter in an open damp location – only in a closed board.
Quick selection guide
