    Wireless crane remote control LCC-202 – hoisting up / down at 2 speeds

    LCC-202 is a radio remote for a hoist, winch or lift that needs only one motion: up and down. A button press is sent by radio to the receiver, and the receiver relays switch the direction and speed contactor coils.

    Key point:
    Two two-step buttons give slow and fast speed in both directions. The receiver is powered from 230 V AC, so it fits control circuits with 230 V AC contactor coils directly.

    How it works

    The receiver is mounted on the hoist or winch and wired into the 230 V AC control circuit: relays to the UP, DOWN and fast-speed contactor coils (or inverter input), the MAIN relay to the main contactor KM0.

    START energises the main contactor. Step one of a button gives slow speed, step two fast speed. The mushroom STOP or loss of radio link drops the MAIN relay and the load stops.

    The operator lifts fast and sets the load down slowly, standing at a safe distance of up to 100 m in open space.

    Why choose LCC-202?
    A compact 2-speed remote when no other motions are needed and there is no point paying for a 4–8 button unit. The 230 V AC receiver connects to a standard control circuit without an extra transformer.

    Practical use

    If a winch on a building site lifts materials to an upper floor and the operator must see both the ground and the loading opening, then with LCC-202 they lift at fast speed and bring the load to the opening at slow speed.

    Safety and installation notes

    • Receiver relays switch contactor coils only, never the motor directly.
    • Receiver supply is 230 V AC – contactor coils must be 230 V AC.
    • Wire the MAIN relay into the main contactor KM0 circuit – STOP and loss of signal must stop hoisting (EN 60204-32).
    • Upper and lower limit switches (SQ) and UP / DOWN NC interlocking stay in the circuit.
    • The fast-speed contactor must only energise together with a direction.
    • Before installation or repair, switch off the main isolator and lock it out (LOTO).
