Industrial interlocked switched socket | 1×32 A 5P 400 V 6h | surface-mounted | IP66/IP67 | Scame 405.3287
Scame 405.3287 is an OMNIA series surface-mounted industrial CEE 32 A 5P 400 V socket with integrated switch and mechanical interlock, supplied in its own enclosure. It is fixed to a wall or structure. Interlock: the plug cannot be withdrawn or inserted while the switch is on; the socket is energised only after the plug is inserted and the switch is turned on.
Key point:
Pulling the plug of high-power equipment under load causes arcing and burns the contacts. In this socket the switch energises the contacts only once the plug is inserted, so connection becomes controlled. IP66/IP67 and IK08 allow use in wet and dusty locations.Socket

The socket is supplied in its own enclosure and fixed to a wall or structure – no separate mounting box is needed. The cable is led into the enclosure and the conductors are connected to screw terminals.
With the plug inserted, the switch energises the socket contacts. While the switch is on, the plug cannot be withdrawn; once switched off, the plug can be removed safely.
The socket has no fuse holder, so circuit protection (MCB and 30 mA RCD) is installed in the board. The design includes a padlock hole of ø4.7 mm.
Why choose Scame 405.3287?
Instead of a separate socket and a separate switch you get one product that meets EN IEC 60309-4 for switched socket-outlets with interlock. This reduces contact burning and operator risk when working with 400 V equipment.Technical specifications

Use by need
For beginners.
This is a socket with a switch: insert the plug first, then turn the switch on. Remove the plug only after switching off.For experienced installers.
The socket is surface-mounted with the enclosure included – fix it to a wall or structure. Screw terminals; check phase sequence for three-phase motors. For energy engineers / designers.
The product complies with EN IEC 60309-4 (switched socket-outlets with interlock). There is no fuse holder – set protection and selectivity in the board.Practical use
At a car wash, a surface-mounted 405.3287 socket is fixed to the wall as the connection point for a high-pressure pump. The operator inserts the plug, switches on and works; when finished, he switches off and only then withdraws the plug. The circuit is protected in the board by an MCB sized to the cable and a 30 mA RCD.Pros / advantages
- Mechanical interlock to EN IEC 60309-4
- IP66/IP67 and IK08
- Integrated switch for socket control
- Surface enclosure included – no separate box needed
- Padlock hole ø4.7 mm
Cons / limitations
- The switch controls the socket only – it does not replace the circuit isolating device in the board
- No fuses or MCB – protection must be in the board
- Only one socket – for several loads choose a combined box, e.g. SEZ ROS4/V-10 (2228)
- Switch utilisation category not stated on the manufacturer page – check with Scame for frequent motor starting
Safety and installation notes
- ⚡ Installation and connection by a qualified electrician only, with the supply isolated.
- ⚡ Protect the circuit with an MCB rated to the cable cross-section (max. 32 A) and a 30 mA RCD.
- The socket has no fuses – it does not replace circuit protection in the board.
- On construction sites, feed the socket only from a site distribution board (HD 60364-7-704).
- IP66/IP67 applies only with the lid closed (or a plug of the same IP inserted) and the cable entry sealed.
- Do not bypass the interlock or pull the plug with the switch on – this damages the contacts and the protection.
Quick selection guide
CEE 32 A 5P 6h346–415 VIP66/IP67, IK08With switch and interlockSuitable when you need:- to connect 400 V equipment safely without arcing on plug removal
- a socket in a wet or dusty environment
- local on/off switching at the machine
Check before choosing:- there is enough space at the mounting point for the surface enclosure and cable entry
- the equipment plug is CEE 32 A 5P 6h
- the board has an MCB sized to the cable and a 30 mA RCD
Important reminder: The socket has no fuses and no RCD – circuit protection is installed in the board. The switch controls the socket only and does not replace the circuit isolating device.☝ Elsprendimai.eu recommends:- Combined socket box selection guide – socket types, IP ratings, cable and protection sizing, “wrong / right” diagram.
- Modular equipment – MCBs and 30 mA RCDs for the supply line.
- Industrial plugs and sockets – CEE plugs for connecting equipment.
- Copper cables – with the right cross-section for the supply line.
FAQ
Is an enclosure included?
Yes. 405.3287 is a surface-mounted socket supplied in its own enclosure; it is fixed to a wall or structure, no separate box is needed. How does the interlock work?
The plug cannot be withdrawn or inserted while the switch is on. The socket is energised only after the plug is inserted and the switch is turned on – this prevents arcing and contact burning. Are there fuses inside?
No – the manufacturer states the socket has no fuse holder. Protection is the MCB and RCD in the board. Is it suitable outdoors?
Yes, IP66/IP67 and IK08 suit outdoor conditions with the lid closed and the cable entry sealed. What voltage?
Rated 346–415 V, 50/60 Hz – suitable for a standard 400 V network.Which standards does it meet?
