Multifunction voltage and current monitoring relay 150A – a DIN rail-mounted protection device for single-phase electrical circuits. The relay monitors voltage, load current, leakage current and temperature, and automatically disconnects the load when the set limits are exceeded. Overcurrent protection is adjustable from 1–150A. The device features a digital display, programmable delays, fault history and automatic reconnection once normal mains parameters are restored.

  • Multifunction Voltage and Current Monitoring Relay | 150A | Automatic Reclosing | Leakage Current and Temperature Protection

Multifunction voltage and current monitoring relay with automatic reclosing – a microcontroller-controlled DIN rail protection device designed to monitor the parameters of a single-phase electrical circuit and disconnect the load when preset limits are exceeded. The device provides overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent up to 150A, leakage current and temperature protection, as well as a digital display and automatic power restoration function.

The digital display allows monitoring of operating voltage and load current. Protection thresholds, trip delays, recovery delay and other parameters can be programmed using the front-panel buttons. The overcurrent protection can be set within a 1–150A range.

150A version with adjustable overcurrent protection

The overcurrent protection threshold can be adjusted from 1A to 150A. The default setting is 125A. When the preset current is exceeded, the load is disconnected after the selected 0.1–30s delay.

    Protection functions

    Protection Setting range Purpose
Overvoltage protection 120-300V / OFF Disconnects the load when the preset voltage threshold is exceeded.
Undervoltage protection 80-210V / OFF Protects the load against excessively low mains voltage.
Overcurrent protection 1-150A / OFF Disconnects the circuit when the preset load current is exceeded.
Leakage current protection 10-100mA / OFF Responds to the preset residual current threshold.
Temperature protection 50-120°C / OFF Disconnects the load when the preset temperature threshold is reached.

    150A overcurrent monitoring

    Adjustable from 1A to 150A

The overcurrent protection threshold can be set in 1A increments. The default value is 125A. When the actual current exceeds the preset threshold, the protection trips after a programmable 0.1–30s delay.

    Automatic reclosing

After a temporary power supply disturbance, the device can automatically restore power to the load. The recovery delay is adjustable from 1 to 999 seconds. This helps prevent the load from being switched on immediately after the mains voltage is restored.

    Repeated overcurrent protection

The number of permitted overcurrent trips before automatic reclosing is locked out can be configured. The permitted number is 1–20 times, or the function can be disabled. Once the selected number of trips is exceeded, the circuit remains disconnected and a manual reset is required.

    Leakage current protection

The leakage current threshold can be set from 10 to 100mA. The protection operating time is approximately up to 100ms. A separate leakage protection test button is provided on the front panel.

Leakage current protection is not an automatic substitute for an RCD / RCBO

Where a separate RCD or RCBO is required by the electrical design or applicable standards, the integrated leakage current function should not be regarded as a substitute for such a protective device unless its suitability and compliance have been separately confirmed.

    Temperature protection

Temperature protection is adjustable from 50°C to 120°C. The default value is 85°C. After the temperature protection trips, approximately 10°C hysteresis is used to prevent the device from repeatedly switching at the exact preset threshold.

    Voltage protection and hysteresis

5V hysteresis is used for both overvoltage and undervoltage protection. This means that the output is not restored at exactly the same voltage threshold at which the protection was triggered. This operating principle reduces the risk of frequent contact switching when the mains voltage fluctuates close to the preset threshold.

    Digital voltage and current display

The integrated digital display allows monitoring of operating voltage and load current. Measurement accuracy is Class 0.5. Voltage and current readings can be corrected within a ±9.9% range in 0.1% increments.

    Practical application example

In an electrical distribution board, the relay can be used to monitor a single-phase load up to 150A. For example, the overcurrent threshold can be set to 125A. If the load current exceeds 125A for longer than the selected delay time, the relay disconnects the circuit. Once the cause of the fault has been removed and the parameters return to normal, power can be restored automatically after the preset recovery time.
