Industrial wall socket with 230 V outlet | 1×16 A 5P 400 V 6h + 1×230 V 16 A | 90° angled | IP44 | Bemis BC1-1505-2537
Bemis BC1-1505-2537 – a wall-mounted CEE 16 A 5P 400 V 6h socket in a 90° angled housing with an additional 230 V 16 A outlet. One compact product for connecting three-phase equipment and a household appliance in a garage, workshop or commercial premises.
Key point:
Instead of two separate sockets, one housing is mounted on the wall: a three-phase CEE socket with a household outlet next to it. IP44 protects against splashes, and the 6h keying prevents insertion of a CEE plug of a different voltage or frequency.Sockets

wall-mountedHow it works
The socket is fixed to a wall or other surface and permanently wired. Terminals accept 1.5–4 mm² conductors.
The CEE socket is 5-pin (3P+N+E), 6h: the position of the earth contact relative to the key prevents mating plugs and sockets of different voltage or frequency. The additional 230 V 16 A outlet is for a household appliance or tool.
There is no switch, MCB or RCD in the socket – protect the line in the panel with an MCB up to 16 A and a 30 mA RCD. Both outlets are 16 A, so a 16 A line MCB protects both.
Why choose Bemis BC1-1505-2537?
The simplest solution when one point needs both a three-phase and a household socket: one housing and one wall fixing. Housing in polyamide 6, contacts in MS 58 brass.Technical specifications

- CEE 16 A 5P 400 V 6h socket – for three-phase equipment with a 5-pin plug.
- 230 V 16 A outlet – for a household appliance or hand tool.
- 6h keying – prevents insertion of a CEE plug of another voltage or frequency.
- IP44 – protection against solid objects over 1 mm and splashing water from all directions.
- 90° angled housing – compact wall-mounted design.
- 1.5–4 mm² terminals – for conductors sized to a 16 A line.
How does it differ from similar products?
Famatel 3067 (8567) 1×CEE 16 A + 1×230 V box, IP44, no switch – an alternative from another manufacturer; check the CEE contact count (4P or 5P) on its product page. Pawbol R-BOX KOMPAKT 16 A (2220) Same socket layout, but with a rotary switch and a lockable 0 position. SEZ ROSP 1631 D/S (577) 1×16 A 5P + 2×Schuko 230 V, IP54 – when two household sockets and a higher IP are needed. Where is it used?
- Garages and car service workshops
- Workshops and small production halls
- Commercial and storage premises
- Connection points for compressors, machine tools and welders
- Agricultural buildings (dry or covered areas)
- Technical rooms and boiler rooms
Use by need
For beginners.
The socket is connected by an electrician. Only a 16 A 5P 6h plug fits the CEE socket – another one will not go in.For experienced installers.
Terminals accept 1.5–4 mm² conductors. Before installation check which phase the 230 V outlet is connected to, so the load is spread more evenly. For energy engineers / designers.
There are no protective devices in the socket: protect the line with an MCB up to 16 A sized to the cable and a 30 mA RCD – this protects both outlets.Practical use
In a garage, a Bemis BC1-1505-2537 is mounted next to the door: a three-phase compressor plugs into the CEE socket and a work lamp into the 230 V outlet. The line is protected in the panel by a 16 A MCB and a 30 mA RCD, so both outlets are protected by the same device.Pros / advantages
- CEE 16 A 5P and 230 V outlets in one housing
- Compact angled wall-mounted housing
- IP44
- MS 58 brass contacts, polyamide 6 housing
- Both outlets 16 A – one 16 A line MCB is enough
Cons / limitations
- No switch – for local isolation choose Pawbol R-BOX KOMPAKT 16 A (2220)
- No MCBs or RCDs – protection must be in the panel
- Only one 230 V outlet – for two household sockets choose SEZ ROSP 1631 D/S (577)
- IP44 – not for water jets or wash-down; for wet areas choose an IP67 model, e.g. SEZ ROSPG 1631 D (2236)
Safety and installation notes
- ⚡ Installation and connection by a qualified electrician only, with the supply disconnected.
- ⚡ Protect the line with an MCB sized to the cable cross-section (max. 16 A) and a 30 mA RCD.
- The total load of both outlets must not exceed the rated current of the supply line MCB.
- The CEE 400 V socket needs a three-phase line – it cannot be used from a single-phase line.
- On construction sites, supply the socket only from a construction site distribution board (HD 60364-7-704).
- The protective earth (PE) contact of the 230 V outlet must be connected.
- IP44 applies only with the socket covers closed and the cable entry properly sealed.
Quick selection guide
CEE 16 A 5P 6h + 230 V90° angledIP44No switch or protectionSuitable when you need:- A compact three-phase and household socket at one point
- Connecting 16 A three-phase equipment in a garage or workshop
- A simple solution without a local switch
Check before choosing:- Confirm the household socket type (Schuko or French with earth pin) when ordering
- Whether the equipment plug is CEE 16 A 5P 6h
- Whether the panel has an MCB up to 16 A and a 30 mA RCD
Important reminder: The socket has no switch, MCBs, RCDs or fuses – line protection is installed in the panel.☝ Elsprendimai.eu recommends:- Combined socket box selection guide – socket types, IP ratings, cable and protection sizing, “wrong / right” diagram.
- Modular equipment – MCBs and 30 mA RCDs for the supply line.
- Industrial plugs and sockets – CEE plugs for connecting equipment.
- Copper cables – with the right cross-section for the supply line.
FAQ
Does the socket have a switch or MCB?
No. BC1-1505-2537 is a socket without a switch or protective devices; protection is installed in the panel. What does “90° angled” mean?
The manufacturer designates this model as a 90° angled wall socket – a housing design intended for wall mounting.Which conductors fit?
Terminals accept 1.5–4 mm² conductors; the electrician selects the cross-section for the 16 A line and its length. Can it be used outdoors?
IP44 protects against splashes with the covers closed – suitable under a canopy. For direct rain and water jets choose an IP67 product. Can it be connected to a single-phase line?
The CEE 400 V socket needs a three-phase line, so it cannot be used from a single-phase supply. If you only need 230 V, choose a box with household sockets, e.g. Famatel 3064 (8578).What is the CEE socket voltage?
The manufacturer specifies 380–450 V, 50/60 Hz – suitable for a standard 400 V three-phase network.Sources: Bemis product page and datasheet (bemis.com.tr, BC1-1505-2537); weight and 230 V outlet current – distributor TMT Elkom data. Checked 2026-10-20.
