Membrane cable entry plate | for 138×48 mm cut-out | 2× Ø12–21 + 2× Ø8–15 + 6× Ø5–8 mm | grey | IP55 | HT Hi Tech Polymers | HTB-10
HTB-10 is a compact membrane cable entry plate for a smaller 138 × 48 mm (B-hole) cut-out, for when a 216 × 84 mm plate does not fit the enclosure or is not needed. It has 10 entries: two Ø12–21 mm for supply cables, two Ø8–15 mm, and six Ø5–8 mm for control and signal lines.
Key point:
Small control and junction boxes usually have up to ten cables and little space on the bottom or side. HTB-10 takes that many cables through one small cut-out, so you do not have to drill several holes for separate glands in the wall of a small enclosure.Entries

138 × 48 mmHow it works
Installation: a 138 × 48 mm cut-out and Ø7.5 mm fixing holes (spacing 120 / 30 mm) are made in the enclosure, and the plate is fixed with screws.
Operation: the required membrane is cut slightly smaller than the cable outer Ø, the cable is pushed through and the TPE seals tightly around it.
Result: up to 10 cables through one small cut-out, IP55 sealing, and unused entries stay closed.
Why choose HTB-10?
HTB-10 brings the convenience of a multi-entry plate to small enclosures: one 138 × 48 mm cut-out instead of several holes and glands. The two larger Ø12–21 mm entries suit a supply cable, and the six small ones take sensors, push-buttons or communication lines.Technical specifications

- 2 entries Ø12–21 mm – for supply or larger cables
- 2 entries Ø8–15 mm – for medium-size lines
- 6 entries Ø5–8 mm – for thin control, sensor and communication lines
- Compact B-hole 138 × 48 mm – suits smaller enclosures
- IP55 – protection against dust and water jets (EN 60529)
- Halogen-free TPE-SEBS – −40…+130 °C, indoor and outdoor
Where is it used?
- Small automation and control boxes
- Gate, barrier and door automation controllers
- Ventilation, heating and heat recovery control boxes
- Junction boxes at machines and equipment
- Irrigation and outdoor equipment control boxes
- Low-voltage and communication distribution boxes
- Solar and sensor junction boxes
Use by need
For small automation enclosure builders.
One small cut-out instead of several holes – faster enclosure preparation and a tidy entry. For electricians and automation installers.
Cables go in without gland nuts: cut the membrane, push the cable through, secure it inside. For equipment service technicians.
When a sensor or push-button is added, a free entry is already there – no drilling of the box.Practical use
If a gate automation control box needs a supply cable, a motor cable, and lines for photocells, a warning lamp and push-buttons, HTB-10 takes all of them through one 138 × 48 mm cut-out.Pros
- Up to 10 cables through one small cut-out
- Three entry sizes – from Ø5 to Ø21 mm
- Suits enclosures where a 216 × 84 mm plate does not fit
- Unopened entries stay closed
- −40…+130 °C, halogen-free, indoor and outdoor
Cons / limitations
- IP55, not IP65 – where a dust-tight entry is needed choose an IP65 plate (e.g. HTC-25 for a 216 × 84 mm cut-out)
- Largest entry Ø21 mm – thicker cables need a 216 × 84 mm plate, e.g. HTC-35
- The membrane does not provide strain relief – secure cables inside the box
- Not a fire barrier
Safety and installation notes
- Make the cut-out with the power off or before equipment is installed in the box.
- After cutting, remove burrs and swarf – in a small enclosure they easily reach the terminals.
- Cut the membrane slightly smaller than the cable outer Ø; one cable per entry.
- Secure cables inside the box so that pulling does not act on the membrane.
- Fix the plate evenly against a flat surface through the Ø7.5 mm holes.
Quick selection guide
2 × Ø12–21 mm2 × Ø8–15 mm6 × Ø5–8 mmCut-out 138 × 48 mmSuitable when you need:- up to 10 cables into a small box
- a compact 138 × 48 mm cut-out
- spare entries for sensors or push-buttons
Check before use:- the cable outer Ø – does it fit 5–8, 8–15 or 12–21 mm
- whether IP55 is enough for your environment
- whether the enclosure can take a 138 × 48 mm cut-out and Ø7.5 mm holes (120 / 30 mm)
Important reminder: HTB-10 seals the cable entry to IP55, but it does not provide strain relief and is not a fire barrier – secure the cables inside.FAQ
What cut-out is HTB-10 for?
