  • Automatic transfer switch ATS SaiLingsi SLQ1 | 3P | 250 A | 400 V | three-phase monitoring | 2 inputs – 1 output

    Code: ES-SLQ1-250A/3

    SaiLingsi SLQ1 3P 250 A – automatic transfer switch with three-phase monitoring. 400 V, AC-33iB, automatic return.

  • Automatic transfer switch ATS SaiLingsi SLQ1 | 3P | 250 A | 400 V | three-phase monitoring | 2 inputs – 1 output

SaiLingsi SLQ1 is a panel-mounted automatic transfer switch (ATS) for two sources: main (I) and backup (II). When the main supply fails, the load is automatically transferred to the backup and returned when the main supply is restored. 3P, 250 A, 400 V, three-phase monitoring.

    Key point
One unit with integrated controller, motor drive and I-0-II handle. The manufacturer states automatic return to the main source and a fire control input. Ui, Uimp, Icw and transfer time depend on the frame size.
    Poles / current
    3P / 250 A
    Voltage monitoring
    3 phases (400 V)
    Transfer
    < 3–5 s (by frame)
    Terminals
    2 inputs – 1 output

    How it works

The controller monitors the source voltage. When main source I fails (manufacturer threshold – voltage below 85 % Ue) and backup II is energised, the motor drive transfers the contacts to II. When I returns, the switch automatically goes back to I.

A key switch selects automatic or manual mode. In manual mode positions I, 0 or II are selected with the handle; in position 0 both sources are disconnected. The handle can be padlocked.

The manufacturer specifies a fire control input – the fire alarm signal is connected to it.

The 3P version switches three phases; the N conductor is not switched. Three-phase monitoring (400 V). "2 inputs – 1 output" terminals.

    Functions

    • Automatic transfer I → II and automatic return II → I
    • I-0-II handle with position 0
    • Auto / manual key switch
    • Handle padlock
    • Fire control input
    • Integrated controller and motor drive

    Versions and nearest sizes

    Applications

    • Building incoming panels with a backup generator
    • Industrial, commercial and high-rise buildings
    • Transfer between two grid supplies
    • Sites requiring fire control

    Practical example

Three-phase site without the need to switch N (e.g. motors) with a 250 A supply: grid – I, generator – II. Three-phase monitoring, the N conductor is connected directly.

    Advantages

    • Integrated controller – no separate automation needed
    • Automatic return to the main source
    • I-0-II handle and padlock for maintenance
    • Fire control input
    • 9000 mechanical cycles

    Points to note

    • Transfer takes up to 3–5 s (by frame)
    • No generator start control specified by manufacturer
    • Does not break short circuits – upstream protection required
    • N conductor is not switched

    ⚡ Safe installation

    • Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician with both sources disconnected.
    • Install short-circuit and overload protection upstream of the ATS on both supplies.
    • Select cables or busbars for 250 A and the terminal size.
    • Connect a generator to the building installation only through a transfer switch.
    • Use 3P only where N does not need to be switched (e.g. TN-C-S with a common N).

    How to choose

Select a current not lower than the incoming protection current. For three-phase motors or sensitive loads choose three-phase monitoring. 4P – when N must also be switched with a generator.

    3P · 250 A
    3 phases (400 V)
    2 inputs – 1 output
    AC-33iB · 400 V
    Suitable if:
    • N does not need to be switched
    • three-phase monitoring is required
    • incoming current up to 250 A
    Check:
    • exact Ui, Uimp and Icw values on the nameplate
    • short-circuit current at the installation point
    • panel space – frame dimensions depend on current
Important: An ATS is not a protective device – install short-circuit and overload protection separately. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.

    Frequently asked questions

When to choose 3P rather than 4P?
When the N conductor does not need to be switched. If the generator has its own N–PE link or RCD protection is used, choose 4P.
Does the ATS start the generator?
The manufacturer does not specify a generator start function for this model – the generator start is controlled by its own automation.
How long does the transfer take?
According to the manufacturer – from under 3 s to 5 s depending on the frame.
    Can it be switched manually?
Yes, with manual mode selected by the key, the handle is turned to I, 0 or II.
What does the fire control input do?
The fire alarm signal is connected to it according to the product wiring diagram.
    Can you help with selection?
Yes. Send us the incoming current, network type and generator power – we will help you choose.
