Portable gas detector with temperature and humidity measurement | audible, visual and vibration alarm | Wi-Fi | 3.7 V Li 3000 mAh | SEM332
SEM332 is a portable handheld gas detector for personal worker protection and on-site checks. In addition to gas, it shows temperature and relative humidity. It alarms in three ways – sound, light and vibration – and has Wi-Fi and a rechargeable 3.7 V 3000 mAh lithium battery.
Key point:
This is a device the worker carries: before entering a manhole, basement or plant room, they see gas hazards and ambient conditions at once. The triple alarm is noticeable even in noisy surroundings. Which gases the specific unit measures must be confirmed before ordering.Type

Wi-Fi Wireless data transfer per supplier data. App / platform and data format not confirmed by the manufacturer – check before ordering. Operating principle
Before use, the detector is charged (6–8 h) and switched on in clean air. A functional check (bump test) with test gas is performed.
During work, the device continuously measures gas concentration, temperature and humidity and shows them on the colour display. When the alarm threshold is exceeded, sound, light and vibration are triggered.
The worker leaves the hazardous zone in time, and data can be transmitted further via Wi-Fi (per supplier data).
Why choose SEM332?
One handheld device combines gas hazard alarm with ambient temperature and humidity. The triple alarm reduces the chance of a hazard going unnoticed.Technical specifications

How does it differ from similar products?
18621 SONOFF SNZB-02DR2 Stationary Zigbee T/RH sensor with LCD for indoor use – does not measure gas, intended for climate monitoring. 15791 Renke RS-WS-LORA-2-EX Stationary LoRa T/RH sensor IP65 for continuous monitoring – no gas measurement, no personal alarm. 11907 LEFOO LFH10 Wired T/RH transmitter 4–20 mA / 0–10 V / RS485 for automation – stationary, no gas measurement. Where is it used?
- Checking manholes, collectors and tanks before entry
- Basements and plant rooms
- Boiler rooms and gas appliance servicing
- Wastewater treatment plants
- Warehouses and production halls
- Repair and installation work in confined spaces
- Agricultural buildings and storage
- Emergency service checks
Use by need
For beginners.
Charge it, switch it on in clean air and do a bump test before every shift. On alarm – leave the zone immediately. For experienced installers.
Before use, check which gases and ranges your specific unit measures, and follow the calibration schedule. For engineers / designers.
Include the device in your safety procedures as an additional measure. In Ex zones use it only with a valid ATEX / IECEx certificate.Practical application
A service crew descends into utility manholes daily. Previously, gas checks relied on one stationary instrument in the van. Now every worker carries a portable detector on the belt. In case of danger, vibration and sound warn them even while using a noisy tool, and the display also shows manhole temperature and humidity.Pros / advantages
- Portable – protection travels with the worker
- Triple alarm: sound, light, vibration
- Also shows temperature and humidity
- Colour display
- Rechargeable 3000 mAh battery, operation >8 h
- Wi-Fi connectivity (per supplier data)
Cons / limitations
- Requires periodic calibration and bump testing – without them readings cannot be trusted
- Does not replace a stationary gas detection system with valve or ventilation control
- Measured gases and ranges not confirmed – must be checked before ordering
- Ex certificate not provided, and IIB is not suitable for IIC gases (hydrogen, acetylene)
- Operating temperature from −10 °C – limited outdoors in cold weather
Safety and installation notes
- ⚠ In Ex zones use only with a valid ATEX / IECEx certificate showing the marking.
- ⚠ A group IIB device is not suitable for IIC gas atmospheres (hydrogen, acetylene); T3 – not for gases with an auto-ignition temperature below 200 °C.
- Do a bump test before every shift and calibrate at the manufacturer's interval.
- Charge the battery only outside the hazardous zone and only with the original charger.
- On alarm, leave the zone immediately – do not try to “check once more”.
Quick selection guide
Portable, handheldGas + T/RHSound, light, vibration3.7 V 3000 mAh, Wi-FiSuitable when you need:- personal gas hazard warning for a worker
- checking a confined space before entry
- also seeing ambient temperature and humidity
- an alarm noticeable in noise
Check before choosing:- which gases and ranges the unit measures
- ATEX / IECEx certificate if used in an Ex zone
- calibration gas, intervals and service options
- the Wi-Fi app or platform for data
Important reminder: ⚠ A portable detector is personal protective equipment, not a stationary gas detection system. Without regular calibration and bump testing its readings cannot be trusted.☝ Elsprendimai.eu recommends:- SONOFF SNZB-02DR2 – If you only need to monitor room temperature and humidity – Zigbee sensor with display.

FAQ
Is this a wall-mounted sensor?
No. It is a portable handheld detector carried by the worker.Which gases does it detect?
The specific gas list is not confirmed by the supplier. Check the sensor configuration before ordering. Can it be used in a hazardous zone?
The supplier declares Ex ib IIB T3 Gb, but no certificate is provided. In Ex zones – only with a valid ATEX / IECEx certificate. How long does it run on one charge?
Per supplier data – more than 8 h; charging takes 6–8 h.Does it need calibration?
Yes. A bump test before each shift, and calibration at the interval specified by the manufacturer. Will it replace a stationary gas alarm?
No. A stationary system monitors the room continuously and can control ventilation or valves.Sources: existing supplier description and product photo; no manufacturer datasheet found. Checked 2026-10-19.
