  • Membrane cable entry plate | for 216×126 mm cut-out | 23 cables Ø3.5–48 mm | grey | IP55 | HT Hi Tech Polymers | HTX-23

    Code: Sandariklis HTX-23

HTX-23 is a membrane cable entry plate for a larger 216×126 mm cut-out. It is intended for thick power cables: one entry Ø33–48 mm, two Ø25–40 mm, eight Ø18–30 mm and another 12 entries Ø3.5–14 mm. Sealing rating is IP55.

  • Membrane cable entry plate | for 216×126 mm cut-out | 23 cables Ø3.5–48 mm | grey | IP55 | HT Hi Tech Polymers | HTX-23

HTX-23 is a TPE-SEBS elastomer plate for a larger, D-shaped 216×126 mm cut-out. It has 11 entries for thick power cables – from Ø18 to Ø48 mm – and 12 smaller entries for control cables. The large entries are stepped: the membrane is cut to the cable's outer diameter.

    Key point:
A standard 216×84 mm plate is often too tight for cables thicker than about Ø30 mm. HTX-23 is designed for main and power boards where an incoming cable up to Ø48 mm, several large sub-feeders and eight medium power cables meet. One cut-out replaces a dozen or so large glands with nuts.
    Largest entry
    Ø33–48 mm
    Power entries
    2 × Ø25–40 + 8 × Ø18–30 mm
    Cut-out
    216×126 mm
    Protection
    IP55

    How it works

A 216×126 mm (D-shaped) opening is cut in the enclosure and Ø10 mm fixing holes are drilled according to the manufacturer's drawing (spacing 40 / 103 / 194 mm). The plate is screwed to the wall.

For each entry needed, the membrane is cut at a step slightly smaller than the cable's outer diameter and the cable is pushed through.

Thick and thin cables enter through one cut-out with IP55 sealing; unused entries stay closed.

    Why choose HTX-23?
It lets up to 11 thick power cables plus 12 control cables enter through one sealed cut-out – without a dozen large glands and without drilling large holes in the wall.

    Main functions

    • 1 entry Ø33–48 mm – for the incoming power cable
    • 2 entries Ø25–40 mm – for large sub-feeder cables
    • 8 entries Ø18–30 mm – for power cables to motors, boards and equipment
    • 12 entries Ø3.5–14 mm – for control, metering and communication cables
    • Inner ranges – the large entries also accept much thinner cables

    Where is it used?

    • Main and incoming distribution boards in buildings
    • Industrial power distribution cabinets
    • Generator and standby supply changeover boards
    • Pumping and compressor station power boards
    • AC combiner boards in solar power plants
    • Supply boards for large ventilation and refrigeration units

    Use by need

    For main board builders.
One 216×126 mm cut-out in the enclosure replaces many large holes and glands – simpler enclosure preparation.
    For designers.
Thick and control cables fit in one entry – a clear solution in drawings and specifications.
    For electrical contractors.
Thick cables go in without tightening large gland nuts and without special drill bits.

    Practical application

If a building's main board has a Ø45 mm incoming cable, two Ø32–36 mm sub-feeders, six Ø20–26 mm power cables for lifts and ventilation, 4 cables Ø12 mm, 4 control cables Ø8 mm and 3 alarm cables Ø4 mm, HTX-23 takes them all through one cut-out.

    Pros

    • For thick cables up to Ø48 mm
    • 11 power entries in one plate
    • Wide ranges with an inner ring for thinner cables
    • Operating temperature −40…+130 °C
    • Halogen-free, oil-splash-resistant material

    Cons / limitations

    • Sealing is IP55 – where IP65 and a 216×84 mm cut-out are required, choose HTC-3 (for large cables, IP65)
    • Requires a larger 216×126 mm cut-out – does not fit a 216×84 mm opening
    • For a single cable Ø55–70 mm – HTX-1
    • Does not provide strain relief and is not a fire barrier

    Safety and installation notes

    • Work in the main board only with the incoming supply switched off and absence of voltage verified.
    • Large cut-out – carefully remove swarf and deburr sharp edges.
    • Thick cables are heavy and stiff – they must be secured inside the board or on cable supports so they do not deform the membrane.
    • Cut the membrane at a step slightly smaller than the cable's outer diameter.

    Quick selection guide

    Cut-out 216×126 mm
Ø3.5–48 mm, up to 23 cables
    11 entries for power cables
    IP55, −40…+130 °C
    Suitable when you need:
    • several thick power cables up to Ø48 mm
    • control and signal cables in the same entry
    • to avoid many large glands
    Check before use:
    • whether a 216×126 mm cut-out with Ø10 mm holes can be made in the enclosure
    • whether IP55 sealing is sufficient
    • the outer diameter of the thickest cable – no more than Ø48 mm
Important reminder: HTX-23 seals the entry to IP55, but does not carry the weight of thick cables and is not a fire barrier – fix the cables separately and use dedicated fire-stop solutions where required.

    FAQ

    What cut-out does HTX-23 require?
    A D-shaped 216×126 mm cut-out and Ø10 mm fixing holes per the manufacturer's drawing.
Is 216×126 mm the size of the plate?
No, these are the dimensions of the cut-out in the enclosure; the plate covers it.
How thick a cable can enter?
Up to Ø48 mm through the largest entry, plus two up to Ø40 mm and eight up to Ø30 mm.
What does the inner range mean?
The large entries have an inner ring, so a thinner cable, e.g. Ø15–18 mm, can also be sealed in them.
Is HTX-23 suitable for an outdoor cabinet?
The material is suitable outdoors, but the plate's sealing is IP55 – assess whether that is enough.
Can it be fitted into a 216×84 mm cut-out?
No, HTX-23 is only for a 216×126 mm cut-out; for a 216×84 mm opening choose HTC or HTKC series plates.
