HTC-17 is a membrane cable entry plate for the standard 216 × 84 mm (C-hole) cut-out, built around nine large Ø18–30 mm entries. It is meant for panels that send out several medium-size power cables – for example to other boards, motors or charging stations. In addition, it has 4 entries Ø10–15 mm and 4 entries Ø5–10 mm for control cables.

    Key point:
When one panel supplies several other boards or larger loads, the cables are typically 18–30 mm in diameter, and most multi-entry plates offer only one or two entries of that size. HTC-17 fills that gap – nine such cables fit through one standard cut-out. The inner ring of the large entries also lets you take a thinner Ø10–14 mm cable when needed.
    Large entries
    9 × Ø18–30 mm
    Other entries
    4 × Ø10–15 + 4 × Ø5–10 mm
    Protection
    IP55
    Cables
    up to 17

    How it works

Installation: the plate is placed in a 216 × 84 mm cut-out and screwed through Ø10 mm holes (spacing 193 / 62 mm).

Operation: for a Ø18–30 mm cable the full membrane ring is opened, for a Ø10–14 mm cable only the inner ring; the opening is made slightly smaller than the cable outer Ø.

Result: up to 9 power and 8 control cables through one cut-out with IP55 sealing.

    Why choose HTC-17?
HTC-17 fits nine medium-size power cables where you would otherwise need nine separate large cable glands and holes. This is especially convenient in distribution boards that feed apartments, workshop panels or EV chargers.

    Main functions

    • 9 entries Ø18–30 mm – for medium-size power cables
    • Inner ring Ø10–14 mm – the same entry also takes a thinner cable
    • 4 entries Ø10–15 mm – for smaller power or control lines
    • 4 entries Ø5–10 mm – for signal and control cables
    • IP55 – protection against dust and water jets (EN 60529)
    • Halogen-free TPE-SEBS – −40…+130 °C, indoor and outdoor

    Where is it used?

    • Apartment building distribution boards feeding apartment boards
    • Workshop distribution cabinets supplying motors and machines
    • Group panels for EV charging stations
    • Inverter connection panels in solar power plants
    • Outdoor lighting and infrastructure distribution cabinets
    • Power panels in pumping stations and ventilation plant rooms
    • Construction site distribution boards

    Use by need

    For distribution board manufacturers.
Nine power outgoing feeders through one cut-out – less mechanical work and a tidy panel bottom.
For EV charging and solar installers.
Several supply cables of similar size enter at one point, and the remaining entries take communication and control lines.
    For apartment building managers.
When an apartment supply cable is replaced or a new feeder is added, no new holes are drilled in the panel.

    Practical use

If 8 apartment supply cables of Ø18–22 mm leave a stairwell distribution board, and a few thin cables are needed for meter data and stairwell lighting control, HTC-17 takes all of them through one 216 × 84 mm cut-out.

    Pros

    • Nine Ø18–30 mm entries in one plate
    • Inner ring Ø10–14 mm on the large entries – flexibility in cable choice
    • 8 additional entries for control and signal cables
    • Up to 17 cables through one cut-out
    • −40…+130 °C, halogen-free, indoor and outdoor

    Cons / limitations

    • IP55, not IP65 – where a dust-tight entry is required choose an IP65 plate, e.g. HTC-35 or HTC-3
    • For very large cables (above Ø30 mm) choose HTC-3 (up to Ø59 mm)
    • The membrane does not carry cable weight – clamp power cables inside the panel
    • Not a fire barrier

    Safety and installation notes

    • Work in the panel only after isolating it and verifying that it is dead.
    • After making the cut-out, remove burrs and metal swarf from busbars and devices.
    • Open the large membrane according to the cable outer Ø: Ø18–30 mm – outer ring, Ø10–14 mm – inner ring only.
    • Clamp power cables so that their weight and bending do not load the membrane.
    • One cable per entry only.

    Quick selection guide

    9 × Ø18–30 mm
    4 × Ø10–15 mm
    4 × Ø5–10 mm
    IP55
    Suitable when you need:
    • up to 9 medium-size power cables through one cut-out
    • supplying several boards or loads from one panel
    • a few control cables entering at the same point
    Check before use:
    • the power cable outer Ø – does it fall within 18–30 mm
    • whether IP55 is enough for your environment
    • whether the enclosure has a 216 × 84 mm cut-out
Important reminder: HTC-17 seals the cable entry to IP55, but it does not carry cable weight and is not a fire barrier – clamp the cables, and use dedicated systems in fire-rated walls.
