Membrane cable entry plate | for 216×84 mm cut-out | 35 entries Ø6–32 mm | grey | IP65 | HT Hi Tech Polymers | HTC-35
HTC-35 is a membrane cable entry plate for the standard 216 × 84 mm (C-hole) cut-out, with entries grouped to match a typical distribution board cable set. The largest entry, Ø17–32 mm, is for the feeder cable, two Ø12–18 mm entries for sub-feeds, and 32 smaller entries (Ø6–14 mm) for outgoing circuits and control lines.
Key point:
Cables in a distribution board are rarely all the same: one thick feeder, a few medium ones and many thinner circuits. HTC-35 is designed for exactly that – one plate has entries for all these sizes, so there is no need to combine several different glands or plates. Unopened entries stay closed and wait for new circuits.Entries

216 × 84 mmHow it works
Installation: the plate is placed in a 216 × 84 mm cut-out and screwed through Ø10 mm holes (spacing 193 / 62 mm).
Operation: each cable gets the entry that matches its outer Ø; the membrane is cut slightly smaller than the cable and the TPE seals tightly around the sheath.
Result: feeder, sub-feeds and outgoing circuits through one cut-out with IP65 sealing.
Why choose HTC-35?
HTC-35 solves a common distribution board situation where a thick feeder and many thinner circuits must pass through one place. Five different entry sizes let you give each cable its own entry without searching for separate glands.Technical specifications

- 1 entry Ø17–32 mm – for the feeder cable
- 2 entries Ø12–18 mm – for sub-feeds or larger circuits
- 16 entries Ø10–14 mm – for power circuits
- 12 entries Ø7–12 mm and 4 entries Ø6–10 mm – for control, lighting and signal lines
- IP65 – dust-tight and protected against water jets
- Closed membranes – unused entries stay sealed
Where is it used?
- Building and floor distribution boards
- Sub-distribution boards in commercial premises
- Motor control (MCC) and pump panels
- Heat pump, boiler room and ventilation unit panels
- Distribution cabinets in production halls
- Construction site and temporary distribution boards
- Panels in agricultural buildings and warehouses
Use by need
For distribution board assemblers.
One plate covers the feeder, sub-feeds and circuits – no need to kit out several different glands. For installation electricians.
Every cable has an entry of the right size – less improvisation on site. For designers.
You can plan one 216 × 84 mm cut-out and a clear number of entries based on the layout.Practical use
If a floor distribution board receives a Ø25 mm feeder and sends out 14 circuit cables of Ø10–12 mm plus a few control cables, HTC-35 has a matching entry for each of them, and the remaining closed entries are kept for future circuits.Pros
- Five entry sizes in one plate – from Ø6 to Ø32 mm
- The largest entry takes a thicker feeder cable
- Up to 35 cables through one cut-out
- IP65 according to the manufacturer
- −40…+130 °C, halogen-free, indoor and outdoor
- Spare entries stay closed
Cons / limitations
- Only one entry above Ø18 mm – for several large cables choose HTC-17 (9 × Ø18–30 mm) or HTC-3 (up to Ø59 mm)
- No entries for cables thinner than Ø6 mm – for those choose the HTKC series (e.g. HTKC-36)
- The membrane does not provide strain relief – secure cables inside the panel
- Not a fire barrier
Safety and installation notes
- Work in the panel only after isolating it and verifying that it is dead.
- After making the cut-out, remove burrs and metal swarf, especially from busbars and devices.
- Measure the cable outer Ø before cutting the membrane and choose the matching entry size.
- Cut the opening slightly smaller than the cable – an oversized opening will not seal.
- Secure the feeder cable firmly inside the panel – its weight must not pull on the membrane.
Quick selection guide
1 × Ø17–32 mm2 × Ø12–18 mm16 × Ø10–14 mm12 × Ø7–12 + 4 × Ø6–10 mmSuitable when you need:- a panel with one feeder and many outgoing circuits
- cables of different diameters through one cut-out
- IP65 sealing and spare entries for new circuits
Check before use:- the feeder outer Ø – does it fall within 17–32 mm
- whether the number and Ø of circuit cables match the entry layout
- whether the enclosure has a 216 × 84 mm cut-out
Important reminder: HTC-35 seals the cable entry, but it does not carry cable weight or tension and is not a fire barrier – secure cables inside and use separate fire-stopping systems for fire-rated walls.FAQ
What feeder cable size fits HTC-35?
The largest entry is for a cable with an outer Ø of 17–32 mm.How many cables can be installed in total?
Up to 35 cables – one per entry. Is it suitable for cables thinner than 6 mm?
No, the smallest entries are Ø6–10 mm; for thinner cables choose the HTKC series. Can I use only some of the entries?
Yes, only the entries in use are cut, the rest stay closed and sealed. What cut-out is required?
A 216 × 84 mm C-hole and Ø10 mm fixing holes, spacing 193 / 62 mm.How does HTC-35 differ from HTC-25?
HTC-35 has more entries (35) and a larger feeder entry up to Ø32 mm, while HTC-25 has 25 entries with a Ø20–26 mm feeder entry.Manufacturer documents
