    Code: Sandariklis RIT-139

RIT-139 is a large membrane cable entry plate for Rittal-type openings, 534×149 mm. It has 139 cones: 1× Ø30–60, 9× Ø15–24 and 129× Ø10–15 mm. Rated IP65, fixed with 8 screws through Ø4 mm holes.

  • Membrane cable entry plate | for Rittal-type opening | 534×149 mm | 139 cables Ø10–60 mm | grey | IP65 | HT Hi Tech Polymers | RIT-139

RIT-139 is designed for large cable entry openings in Rittal-type enclosures and distribution cabinets where many cables must pass through a single opening. Each cable runs through its own membrane cone, which the installer cuts open only where needed. Uncut cones stay closed and sealed.

    Key point:
One plate replaces dozens of individual cable glands: there is no need to drill a hole for every cable, and new cables can be added later by opening a spare cone. This matters in data centre, production and building cabinets, where the number of cables only grows over the service life.

    How it works

The plate is placed over the Rittal-type opening and fixed with 8 screws through Ø4 mm holes – the compressed edge seals the joint with the enclosure.

A separate cone is cut for each cable at the step slightly smaller than the cable's outer Ø – the elastic TPE-SEBS membrane grips the sheath tightly.

The result is an IP65 entry: only the required openings are used, the rest stay closed as a reserve.

    Why choose RIT-139?
It is the largest plate in this range: up to 139 cables in one opening and three size groups – from Ø10 mm control cables up to a Ø60 mm power cable. The whole cabinet entry is handled in one place, and spare openings stay sealed without extra blanking plugs.

    Main functions

    • 139 separate cones – every cable has its own sealing point, cables do not press against each other
    • Three size groups – Ø10–15, Ø15–24 and Ø30–60 mm: control, signal and power cables through one opening
    • Reserve without blanking plugs – uncut cones stay closed, cables can be added without removing the plate
    • IP65 sealing – protection against dust and water jets according to EN 60529
    • Operation at −40…+100 °C – suitable for heated and unheated rooms and outdoor cabinets

    Where is it used?

    • Rittal-type distribution and automation cabinets with a large cable entry opening
    • Cable entries of data centre and server cabinets
    • Production line control cabinets with many sensor and drive cables
    • Main distribution boards of buildings with power and low-current cables
    • Telecommunication and security system concentration cabinets
    • Outdoor cabinets in pumping stations, substations and charging points where an IP65 entry is required

    Use by need

    For the designer.
The whole cabinet entry for up to 139 cables, with reserve for expansion, is specified as one item – fewer separate glands in the bill of materials.
    For the panel builder.
No need to drill dozens of holes or match threads: the plate is fixed with 8 screws and cables go through the cones.
For the data centre or facility manager.
New cables can be added by opening a spare cone, without replacing the plate or stopping the cabinet.

    Practical use

If a production cabinet needs 1 power cable Ø42 mm, 6 control cables Ø18 mm and 60 sensor cables Ø12 mm, only 67 cones are cut and the remaining 72 stay closed – when the line is extended, new cables enter through the same plate.

    Pros

    • Up to 139 cables through one opening
    • Three cable Ø groups from 10 to 60 mm
    • Uncut cones remain sealed – reserve without blanking plugs
    • IP65 according to EN 60529
    • Halogen-free TPE-SEBS, −40…+100 °C
    • Fixed with 8 screws, no threads or lock nuts

    Cons / limitations

    • There are no openings for cables thinner than Ø10 mm – for these choose RIT-50 (16× Ø6–11 mm) or HT-50 (36× Ø3.5–5.5 mm)
    • The membrane does not provide strain relief – cables must be secured inside the cabinet
    • Designed for a Rittal-type opening – for the standard 216×84 mm cut-out choose e.g. HTC-50
    • It is not a fire barrier

    Safety and installation notes

    • Work inside the cabinet only with the voltage switched off and its absence verified.
    • Cut the cone at the step slightly smaller than the cable's outer Ø – an oversized opening will not seal.
    • One cable – one cone; never pass two cables through one opening.
    • If the enclosure opening was cut or drilled, remove swarf and clean the edges before fitting the plate.
    • The manufacturer states that cutting the cones is the installer's responsibility – use a sharp knife and avoid tears.

    Quick selection guide

    Plate 534×149 mm
    8 holes Ø4 mm
    139 cables Ø10–60 mm
    IP65, −40…+100 °C
    Suitable when you need:
    • to seal many cables through one Rittal-type opening
    • to leave a reserve for future cables
    • to combine power, control and signal cable entry in one place
    Check before use:
    • that the enclosure opening fits a 534×149 mm plate with 8 fixing holes
    • the outer cable Ø – whether they fall into the 10–15, 15–24 or 30–60 mm groups
    • that there are no more than 9 cables Ø15–24 mm and only one Ø30–60 mm
Important reminder: RIT-139 seals the entry against dust and water (IP65), but it does not replace cable fixing inside the cabinet and it is not a fire barrier – fire-rated walls require certified firestop systems.

    FAQ

How many cables can RIT-139 take?
    Up to 139: 1 cable Ø30–60 mm, 9 cables Ø15–24 mm and 129 cables Ø10–15 mm.
Do all openings have to be cut at once?
No – only the cones in use are cut, the others stay closed and sealed.
Where should the cone be cut?
At the step slightly smaller than the cable's outer diameter.
Is the plate suitable for an outdoor cabinet?
Yes, it is rated IP65 and −40…+100 °C, provided the mounting surface is flat and clean.
    How is the plate fixed?
With 8 screws through the Ø4 mm holes along the plate edges.
What if there are fewer cables?
For up to 50 cables Ø6–34 mm there is the smaller RIT-50 (330×90 mm).
