Membrane cable entry plate with cones | for 216×84 mm cut-out | 25 cables Ø5–26 mm | grey | IP65 / IP55 | HT Hi Tech Polymers | HTKC-25
HTKC-25 is a TPE-SEBS elastomer plate for a 216×84 mm cut-out with 25 cones: one Ø20–26 mm, four Ø14–20 mm, sixteen Ø8–14 mm and four Ø5–7 mm. The larger cones are two-zone: the outer range seals to IP65, while the inner range accepts a much thinner cable (IP55).
Key point:
When cable diameters are not exactly known in advance – for example when refurbishing an old board – two-zone cones give a margin: the same cone takes both a thick and a thinner cable. The entry layout is the same as HTC-25, so these plates are interchangeable.Cables

IP65 / IP55How it works
A 216×84 mm cut-out and Ø10 mm fixing holes (spacing 193 × 62 mm) are made in the enclosure and the plate is screwed to the wall.
The cone is cut to the cable's outer diameter: at the outer step for the main range (IP65), at the inner ring for a thinner cable (IP55).
Each cable is sealed in its own cone; unused cones stay closed as reserve.
Why choose HTKC-25?
One plate covers a wide cable range from Ø5 to Ø26 mm, and the two-zone cones let you adapt flexibly to the actual cable diameters on site.Technical specifications

- Two-zone cones – the same cone suits a thicker (IP65) and a thinner (IP55) cable
- 1 cone Ø20–26 mm – for the board supply cable
- 4 cones Ø14–20 mm – for sub-feeder or larger load cables
- 16 cones Ø8–14 mm – for circuit cables
- 4 cones Ø5–7 mm – for thin control or communication cables
Where is it used?
- Refurbishment of old boards with mixed cable diameters
- Main boards in houses and terraced homes
- Distribution boards in small commercial premises
- Boards in outbuildings and garages
- Outdoor cabinets next to buildings
- Temporary and construction site boards
Use by need
For refurbishment electricians.
Two-zone cones allow existing, previously unmeasured cables to be sealed without extra glands. For panel assemblers.
The universal layout suits most small distribution boards, and HTKC-25 and HTC-25 are interchangeable. For facility managers.
When a cable is replaced with one of a different diameter, the inner range of the same cone is often enough.Practical application
If a refurbished house board keeps an old Ø24 mm supply cable and gets 3 new Ø16–18 mm cables for a heat pump and cooker, 14 circuit cables Ø9–12 mm and 2 thin Ø6 mm communication cables, HTKC-25 takes them all at IP65 and the remaining cones stay in reserve.Pros
- Wide cable range – Ø5–26 mm
- Two-zone cones – flexibility during installation
- Interchangeable with HTC-25 (same layout)
- Operating temperature −40…+130 °C
- Halogen-free material for indoor and outdoor use
Cons / limitations
- In the inner range sealing is only IP55 – where IP65 is required, the cable must match the outer range
- Only one cone above Ø20 mm; for several thick cables use HTKC-28
- For many thin cables HTKC-50 is a better fit
- Does not provide strain relief and is not a fire barrier
Safety and installation notes
- Work in the board with the power off and absence of voltage verified.
- Remove swarf after making the cut-out.
- Decide which range you will use before cutting – a cone cut too deep will no longer seal the outer range.
- Secure cables inside the board.
Quick selection guide
Cut-out 216×84 mmØ5–26 mm, up to 25 cablesTwo-zone conesIP65 / IP55, −40…+130 °CSuitable when you need:- cables of various sizes into a small board
- flexibility when cable diameters are not known in advance
- an equivalent replacement for HTC-25
Check before use:- which cables fall into the main (IP65) and which into the inner (IP55) range
- whether IP65 is required for the whole entry
- that there is no more than one thick cable (above Ø20 mm)
Important reminder: The inner cone range provides only IP55 – where the board needs IP65, choose cables to the outer range; the plate is not a fire-stop seal.FAQ
What do the double ranges, e.g. Ø20–26 / Ø12–15 mm, mean?
The larger range seals to IP65, the smaller inner ring takes a thinner cable at IP55.Are HTKC-25 and HTC-25 the same?
No – these are products of different construction: the manufacturer describes HTKC-25 as a diaphragm (membrane) inlet flange and HTC-25 as an inlet flange. The 216×84 mm cut-out, fixing and cable ranges are the same, so one can replace the other when mounting. How many cables fit?
Up to 25: 1 × Ø20–26, 4 × Ø14–20, 16 × Ø8–14 and 4 × Ø5–7 mm.Is it suitable outdoors?
Yes, the material is intended for indoor and outdoor use, operating temperature −40…+130 °C.What if a cone has been cut too deep?
Use it for a thicker cable or replace the plate – an oversize opening will not seal.Do cables need to be secured?
Yes, the plate does not provide strain relief, so secure cables inside the board.Manufacturer documents
