    HTKC-36 is a membrane cable entry plate with cones for a 216×84 mm cut-out. Six cone sizes cover cables from Ø4 to Ø32 mm, up to 36 cables in total. Sealing rating is IP65.

    HTKC-36 is a TPE-SEBS elastomer plate for a 216×84 mm cut-out with cones in six sizes: from Ø4–8 mm up to Ø17–32 mm. Each cable gets the nearest cone, cut to its outer diameter. It is the most versatile layout where cables of very different thicknesses meet in one panel.

    Key point:
    A machine control cabinet typically has a supply cable, motor cables, valve and fan lines and thin sensor cables at the same time. HTKC-36 has a cone size for each of these groups, so all cables enter through one cut-out. Compared with HTC-35 it adds 4 cones Ø4–8 mm for the thinnest cables.

    How it works

    A 216×84 mm opening is cut in the enclosure, Ø10 mm fixing holes are drilled (spacing 193 × 62 mm) and the plate is screwed to the wall.

    After measuring the cable's outer diameter, a cone from the matching group is chosen and cut at a step slightly smaller than the cable. The cable is pushed through the cone.

    Cables of different thicknesses are sealed in one plate (IP65), unused cones stay closed.

    Cons / limitations

    • The number of cones of each size is limited – for many identical thin cables HTKC-50 or HTKC-43 is better
    • Only one cable above Ø18 mm; for several thick cables use HTKC-28
    • Does not provide strain relief – cables must be secured inside the cabinet
    • Not a fire barrier

    Safety and installation notes

    • Make the cut-out with the power off; on vibrating equipment also make sure the plate screws are properly tightened.
    • Remove swarf from the wall and the inside of the cabinet.
    • Before cutting a cone, measure the cable's outer diameter – not the conductor cross-section.
    • Secure motor cables inside the cabinet so that vibration and pulling are not transferred to the cone.
