Membrane cable entry plate with cones | for 216×84 mm cut-out | 43 cables Ø4–27.5 mm | grey | IP65 | HT Hi Tech Polymers | HTKC-43
HTKC-43 is a TPE-SEBS elastomer plate for a standard 216×84 mm cut-out that takes up to 43 cables. Its core is 38 identical cones Ø7–12.5 mm – the typical range of installation cables. In addition there are 4 cones for thin cables and one large cone for an incoming cable up to Ø27.5 mm.
Key point:
In a distribution board most of the space is taken by identical outgoing circuit cables, while the incoming cable is much thicker. The HTKC-43 layout is designed for exactly that: many medium cones for circuits and one cone up to Ø27.5 mm for the incomer – more than HTC-50 (Ø15–25 mm). Four small cones remain for communication, bus or sensor cables.Cables

IP65How it works
A 216×84 mm cut-out and Ø10 mm fixing holes (spacing 193 × 62 mm) are made in the enclosure, the plate is screwed on and its edge seals against the wall.
A cone of suitable size is chosen for each cable, its tip is cut at a step slightly smaller than the cable's outer diameter, and the cable is pushed through.
The cones grip the cables tightly (IP65), while unused cones remain closed for future circuits.
Why choose HTKC-43?
One plate covers the whole cable set of a typical distribution board – circuits, incomer and a few thin communication cables – without separate glands for each size.Technical specifications

- 38 cones Ø7–12.5 mm – for outgoing circuit installation cables
- 1 cone Ø14–27.5 mm – for the incoming cable
- 4 cones Ø4–10.5 mm – for communication, bus or sensor cables
- Individual sealing – each cable in its own cone
- Spare capacity in the plate – uncut cones stay sealed
Where is it used?
- Stairwell and floor distribution boards in apartment buildings
- Circuit boards in offices and retail premises
- Lighting and socket boards in industrial premises
- Outdoor distribution cabinets (−40…+130 °C, IP65)
- Boards in agricultural buildings and warehouses
- Boards with a few bus or communication cables next to power circuits
Use by need
For distribution board builders.
One plate model fits most circuit boards – fewer different glands in stock. For installers.
Circuit cables go in fast, with no separate holes and nuts for each cable. For designers.
The entry solution is clear in the specification: one 216×84 mm cut-out, up to 43 cables, IP65.Practical application
If a stairwell board has 30 circuit cables Ø9–11 mm, an incoming cable Ø20 mm and 3 communication cables Ø6 mm, HTKC-43 takes them all and 8 medium cones remain for future circuits.Pros
- 38 identical cones for typical circuit cables
- Incomer cone up to Ø27.5 mm
- Operating temperature −40…+130 °C
- IP65, for indoor and outdoor use
- Halogen-free, oil-splash-resistant material
Cons / limitations
- Only one thick cable; for several thick cables choose HTKC-28 (6 × Ø13–28 mm) or HTX-23
- Does not provide strain relief – cables must be secured inside the board
- Not for cables thinner than Ø4 mm
- Not a fire barrier
Safety and installation notes
- Make the cut-out only with the power off and after checking there are no wires or devices behind the wall.
- Clean swarf out of the board after drilling.
- Cut the cone at a step slightly smaller than the cable's outer diameter; a cone cut too wide will not seal.
- Secure cables inside the board and do not bend them sharply right behind the plate.
Quick selection guide
Cut-out 216×84 mm38 × Ø7–12.5 mm1 × Ø14–27.5 + 4 × Ø4–10.5 mmIP65, −40…+130 °CSuitable when you need:- many circuit cables of the same size
- one thicker incoming cable up to Ø27.5 mm
- spare capacity for future circuits
Check before use:- the cables' outer diameters against each cone group
- whether a 216×84 mm cut-out with Ø10 mm holes can be made in the enclosure
- that there is no more than one thick cable
Important reminder: HTKC-43 provides IP65 sealing of the entry, but it does not replace cable fixing inside the board and is not a fire-stop seal.FAQ
How many cables can enter through HTKC-43?
Up to 43: 38 cables Ø7–12.5 mm, 4 cables Ø4–10.5 mm and one Ø14–27.5 mm.How thick can the incoming cable be?
The largest cone is for a cable with an outer diameter of Ø14–27.5 mm.Is HTKC-43 suitable for an outdoor cabinet?
Yes, the material is intended for outdoor use, protection IP65, operating temperature −40…+130 °C.How is a cone cut?
With a knife or scissors at a step slightly smaller than the cable's outer diameter. Can it replace an HTC-50?
Yes, both plates are for the same 216×84 mm cut-out; only the entry layout differs. What if a cone has been cut too wide?
Use that cone for a thicker cable or replace the plate – an oversize opening does not ensure sealing.Manufacturer documents
