HTKC-50 is a TPE-SEBS elastomer plate that covers a standard 216×84 mm cut-out and lets up to 50 cables enter through it. Each cable passes through its own cone, whose tip is cut to suit the cable's outer diameter. The dense pattern of 49 small cones is intended for control, signal and data cables.
Key point:
Automation panels often need dozens of thin cables – sensors, push buttons, communication lines. Drilling dozens of holes for individual glands is impractical; HTKC-50 handles it with a single cut-out. The cones start at Ø4 mm, so they also suit the thinnest signal cables, for which HTC-50 (Ø7–13 mm) is already too large.Cables

IP65How it works
A 216×84 mm opening is cut in the enclosure wall and Ø10 mm fixing holes are drilled (spacing 193 × 62 mm). The plate is screwed on and its edge is pressed against the wall.
The tip of each cone needed is cut at a step slightly smaller than the cable's outer diameter. The cable is pushed through and the elastic cone grips the sheath.
The result is an IP65 entry for many cables, while unused cones stay closed for later extensions of the panel.
Why choose HTKC-50?
It saves installation time where there are many thin cables: one cut-out instead of dozens of individual glands, each cable gets its own cone, and spare capacity stays in the same plate.Technical specifications

- 49 cones Ø4–12 mm – for thin control, signal and data cables
- 1 cone Ø14–25 mm – for the panel supply cable
- One cable – one cone – every sheath is sealed individually
- Closed cones – unused positions stay sealed as spare capacity
- Standard 216×84 mm cut-out – interchangeable with other plates for the same cut-out
Where is it used?
- PLC and automation control panels with many sensor cables
- Building management (BMS) and ventilation control panels
- Low-voltage, alarm and access control distribution boxes
- Production line and machine control cabinets
- Communication and data cabinets with many thin cables
- Lighting control panels with many outgoing circuits
Use by need
For automation panel builders.
One standard cut-out takes 49 signal cables plus one supply – easier to standardise enclosure preparation. For installers.
No need to drill dozens of holes: only the cones for today's cables are cut.For facility managers.
When a sensor or line is added, the cable goes through a free cone without dismantling the existing entry.Practical application
If a ventilation control panel needs 30 sensor and actuator cables Ø5–8 mm plus one Ø16 mm supply cable, HTKC-50 takes them all through one cut-out and 19 free cones remain for future lines.Pros
- Up to 50 cables through one 216×84 mm cut-out
- Smallest cones from Ø4 mm – suitable for thin signal cables
- IP65 sealing
- Halogen-free, oil-splash-resistant material for indoor and outdoor use
- Unused cones stay closed – spare capacity without extra blanking
Cons / limitations
- Only one entry for a larger cable (Ø14–25 mm); for more supply cables choose HTKC-28 or HTKC-36
- Upper operating temperature +100 °C (supplier data)
- Does not provide cable strain relief – cables must be secured inside the panel
- Not a fire barrier
Safety and installation notes
- Cut and drill only with the power switched off; in a live panel work only under permit and with protective equipment.
- Remove metal swarf after cutting and drilling – it can cause a short circuit.
- Cut the cone at a step slightly smaller than the cable's outer diameter – an oversize opening will not seal.
- Pass only one cable through each cone.
- Secure cables inside the panel so that pulling forces are not transferred to the cone.
Quick selection guide
Cut-out 216×84 mm (FL21)49 × Ø4–12 mm1 × Ø14–25 mmIP65, −40…+100 °CSuitable when you need:- many thin cables into one panel
- spare capacity for future lines without new holes
- an IP65 entry without dozens of individual glands
Check before use:- whether the enclosure has (or can get) a 216×84 mm cut-out with Ø10 mm fixing holes
- the cables' outer diameters – do they fit Ø4–12 mm and Ø14–25 mm
- whether cables can be secured inside the panel
Important reminder: HTKC-50 seals the entry against dust and water jets (IP65), but it is not a fire barrier and does not provide strain relief – separate solutions are needed for that.FAQ
What cable sizes does HTKC-50 accept?
49 cones are for cables Ø4–12 mm, one for Ø14–25 mm outer diameter. How does HTKC-50 differ from HTC-50?
HTKC-50's small cones start at Ø4 mm (HTC-50: Ø7–13 mm), so it suits thin signal cables better.Do all cones have to be cut?
No – only the cones used for cables are cut, the rest stay closed. What opening is needed in the enclosure?
A 216×84 mm cut-out and Ø10 mm fixing holes at 193 × 62 mm spacing.Can it be used outdoors?
Yes, the material is intended for indoor and outdoor use, protection IP65.Can two thin cables go through one cone?
No, one cone is for one round cable, otherwise sealing is not ensured.Manufacturer documents
