Membrane cable entry plate with cones | for 216×84 mm cut-out | 6× Ø13–28 + 18× Ø6–13 + 4× Ø3–11 mm | grey | IP65 | HT Hi Tech Polymers | HTKC-28
HTKC-28 is a TPE-SEBS elastomer plate for a 216×84 mm cut-out with as many as six large cones Ø13–28 mm. Next to them are 18 cones Ø6–13 mm and 4 cones Ø3–11 mm. The cone tip is cut to the cable's outer diameter and each cable is sealed individually.
Key point:
Many 216×84 mm plates have only one or two entries for a thick cable. HTKC-28 is designed for boards that send out several power cables – to other boards, motors, heat pumps or charging points. Six cones up to Ø28 mm allow all of them to enter through one cut-out.Thick cables
6 × Ø13–28 mmMedium
18 × Ø6–13 mmThin
4 × Ø3–11 mmProtection
IP65How it works
A 216×84 mm opening is cut in the board wall, Ø10 mm holes are drilled (spacing 193 × 62 mm) and the plate is screwed on.
Large cones are cut for thick cables, small ones for thin cables; each is cut at a step slightly smaller than the cable's outer diameter.
Power and control cables are sealed in one plate (IP65), unused cones stay closed.
Why choose HTKC-28?
It fits up to six thick cables plus 22 medium and thin ones in one standard cut-out – without extra large glands with nuts.Technical specifications

- 6 cones Ø13–28 mm – for supply, sub-feeder and motor cables
- 18 cones Ø6–13 mm – for circuit and control cables
- 4 cones Ø3–11 mm – for thin signal or communication cables
- Wide ranges – one cone suits cables of various thicknesses
- Closed spare cones – stay sealed until used
Where is it used?
- Main and distribution boards in buildings feeding other boards
- Industrial distribution cabinets with motor cables
- Supply boards for EV charging points
- Heat pump and boiler room power boards
- Construction site distribution cabinets
- Outdoor lighting and infrastructure boards
Use by need
For designers.
When several power cables leave a board, a single cut-out solution simplifies enclosure selection and drawings. For electrical contractors.
Six thick cables go in without separate large glands or extra holes in the wall. For plant energy engineers.
When a new sub-feeder is added, a free large cone lets the cable in without dismantling the existing entry.Practical application
If a building distribution board has an incoming cable Ø26 mm, four sub-feeder cables Ø18–22 mm to floor boards, 12 circuit cables Ø10 mm and 2 alarm cables Ø5 mm, HTKC-28 takes them all and one large cone is still left in reserve.Pros
- Six cones for thick cables up to Ø28 mm
- Wide ranges – Ø13–28 and Ø3–11 mm
- Operating temperature −40…+130 °C
- IP65, for indoor and outdoor use
- Halogen-free, oil-splash-resistant material
Cons / limitations
- Not for cables thicker than Ø28 mm – choose HTX-23 (up to Ø48 mm) or HTC-3
- Fewer entries for small cables than HTKC-50 or HTKC-43
- Does not provide strain relief – thick cables must be secured inside the board
- Not a fire barrier
Safety and installation notes
- All work in the board only with the power off and absence of voltage verified.
- Remove swarf after cutting and drilling.
- Thick cables are stiff – secure them inside the board so their weight and bending do not deform the cone.
- Cut the cone at a step slightly smaller than the cable's outer diameter.
Quick selection guide
Cut-out 216×84 mm6 × Ø13–28 mm18 × Ø6–13 + 4 × Ø3–11 mmIP65, −40…+130 °CSuitable when you need:- several thick power cables through one cut-out
- circuit and signal cables in the same plate
- spare capacity for future sub-feeders
Check before use:- the outer diameter of the thickest cable – no more than Ø28 mm
- the number of thick cables – no more than six
- whether thick cables can be secured inside the board
Important reminder: HTKC-28 seals the entry (IP65), but does not carry the weight and pulling forces of thick cables and is not a fire-stop seal – fix the cables separately.FAQ
How many thick cables can enter through HTKC-28?
Up to six cables with an outer diameter of Ø13–28 mm.Is it suitable for a Ø30 mm cable?
No, the largest cones are for up to Ø28 mm; for thicker cables choose HTX-23.What are the 4 cones Ø3–11 mm for?
For thin signal, sensor or communication cables. Can it be fitted into the same cut-out as HTC-50?
Yes, all plates of this series are for a 216×84 mm cut-out with the same fixing holes. Is HTKC-28 suitable for an outdoor cabinet?
Yes, the material is intended for outdoor use, protection IP65, operating temperature −40…+130 °C.Do thick cables need to be secured?
Yes, the plate does not provide strain relief, so they must be secured inside the board.Manufacturer documents
