How to put the set together

Choose the ventilation outlet: insulated if the duct runs through a cold attic, non-insulated for heated spaces.
Add the outlet flashing to suit the roof covering – tile or metal.
Fit a D160 deflector on top. Models with an integrated base plate are available for bitumen or metal roofing.

The deflectors in this category are designed for ventilation ducts – to extract humid and warm air. Do not install them on stove, fireplace or boiler flues: hot flue gases and acidic condensate will damage them, creating a risk of fire and carbon monoxide.

No. The plastic components are intended for ventilation only – hot flue gases would deform them.
