Round membrane grommet | for Ø32 mm hole | 14 cables Ø3–7 mm | grey | IP65 | HT Hi Tech Polymers | HTL-32
Code: Sandariklis HTL-32HTL-32 is a round membrane grommet for a Ø32 mm hole with 14 identical cones for cables Ø3–7 mm. It is intended for cases where many thin signal or control cables must pass through one hole. For a 1.5–5 mm wall, IP65 per the manufacturer's datasheet.

Round membrane grommet | for Ø32 mm hole | 14 cables Ø3–7 mm | grey | IP65 | HT Hi Tech Polymers | HTL-32
HTL-32 is intended for a 'bundle' of low-current and control cables when many thin cables of similar thickness enter an enclosure. The grommet is pressed into a Ø32 mm hole and its 14 identical cones accept cables Ø3–7 mm – each through its own opening.
Key point:
Fourteen cables through one hole saves space and time: there is no need to drill many small holes and fit as many glands. Since all cones are identical, there is no need to plan which cable goes where – any cone will do.Enclosure hole

IP65How it works
A Ø32 mm hole is made in the enclosure wall (1.5–5 mm), and the grommet is pressed in until the wall sits in its groove.
The required number of cones are cut at the step slightly smaller than the cable's outer Ø; each cable goes through a separate cone.
The hole is sealed to IP65, and uncut cones are kept for additional cables.
Why choose HTL-32?
The highest density of thin cables in a Ø32 mm hole in this range: 14 places for cables Ø3–7 mm. Suitable for alarm, access control, data and sensor lines of similar thickness.Technical specifications
Product type Round membrane grommet for cable entry Code HTL-32 (HTL-32-14) Manufacturer HT Hi Tech Polymers Oy (Finland) Enclosure hole Ø32 mm Cable openings 14× Ø3–7 mm Max. number of cables 14 Enclosure wall thickness 1.5–5 mm Mounting pressed into a round hole, no screws Degree of protection IP65 (EN 60529, per manufacturer's datasheet) Operating temperature −40…+100 °C Material TPE-SEBS, halogen-free Colour grey Marking CE Main functions
- 14 identical cones – each Ø3–7 mm cable has its own sealing opening
- One Ø32 mm hole – instead of a dozen small entries
- No layout planning – all cones are identical, any one will do
- Pressed in by hand – no screws, nuts or threads
- IP65 and −40…+100 °C – for indoor and outdoor enclosures
Where is it used?
- Entries of intruder alarm panels and distribution boxes
- Access control and door entry system enclosures
- KNX and other building automation bus distribution boxes
- PLC I/O boxes with many sensor wires
- Telecom and data distribution boxes
- Measurement and monitoring enclosures with many signal lines
Use by need
For the security system installer.
All panel cables enter through one hole – neatly, sealed and without a dozen separate glands. For the control panel manufacturer.
One Ø32 mm hole is enough for sensor lines and is easy to include in the enclosure drawing. For the building manager.
When a new sensor or reader is added, its cable goes through an uncut cone without changing the entry.Practical use
If an access control controller box needs 10 cables Ø5 mm from readers, door contacts and locks, HTL-32 is pressed into one Ø32 mm hole, 10 cones are cut and 4 remain as a reserve for new doors.Pros
- 14 cables through one Ø32 mm hole
- Identical cones Ø3–7 mm – simple installation
- Mounting without screws or nuts
- Fits a 1.5–5 mm wall
- IP65 per manufacturer's datasheet
- Halogen-free TPE-SEBS, −40…+100 °C
Cons / limitations
- Not suitable for cables thicker than Ø7 mm – choose HTL-28 (3× Ø5–9 mm) or HTL-50 (up to Ø21 mm)
- For more than 14 thin cables choose HT-50 (36× Ø3.5–5.5 mm, for a Ø50 mm hole)
- The membrane does not provide strain relief – secure cables inside the enclosure
- It is not a fire barrier
Safety and installation notes
- Work with the power disconnected – in low-current systems also disconnect the backup battery.
- Drill the hole accurately to Ø32 mm, remove swarf and burrs.
- One cable – one cone; do not leave a cable in a cone that has been cut too wide.
- After feeding the cables, check that the grommet has not slipped out of the wall groove.
Quick selection guide
Hole Ø32 mmWall 1.5–5 mm14× Ø3–7 mmIP65, −40…+100 °CSuitable when you need:- to bring many thin cables of similar thickness through one hole
- to seal an alarm or automation box entry neatly
- to leave a reserve for additional lines
Check before use:- that the hole is Ø32 mm and the wall is 1.5–5 mm
- that the outer Ø of all cables is 3–7 mm
- that there are no more than 14 cables
Important reminder: HTL-32 seals the hole (IP65) but does not secure cables against pull-out and is not a fire barrier – fix the cables inside the enclosure.FAQ
What hole is required?
A round Ø32 mm hole in a 1.5–5 mm wall. How many cables can be used?
Up to 14 cables Ø3–7 mm.Are all cones identical?
Yes, all 14 are for cables Ø3–7 mm.Do all cones have to be cut?
No, only those in use are cut, the others remain sealed. What if one cable is thicker?
Choose HTL-28 (3× Ø5–9 mm) or HTL-50 (1× Ø12–21 mm).Does the grommet hold the cable against pull-out?
No, cables must be secured inside the enclosure.Manufacturer documents
