    HTL-50 is made for a typical equipment connection: one thicker power cable, one medium cable and several thin control or signal cables. The grommet is pressed into a Ø50 mm hole and each cable passes through its own cone.

    Key point:
    Three cone size groups let you combine a power cable up to Ø21 mm and four thinner cables in one hole. This is convenient for outdoor equipment and small panels where the wall only has room for one larger opening.

    How it works

    A Ø50 mm hole is cut in the enclosure wall (1.5–5 mm), e.g. with a hole saw, and the grommet is pressed in until the wall sits in its groove.

    Each cable is assigned to a cone of its size: power – Ø12–21 mm, medium – Ø7–15 mm, thin – Ø4–10 mm; the cone is cut at the step slightly smaller than the cable Ø.

    The result is a sealed entry in one hole, unused cones remain closed.

    Why choose HTL-50?
    One Ø50 mm hole replaces glands of three different sizes. The overlapping cone ranges (Ø4–10, Ø7–15, Ø12–21 mm) give flexibility when exact cable sizes are not known in advance.

    Cons / limitations

    • Only one cone for a Ø12–21 mm cable – two thick cables need another solution, e.g. Haupa 250050 (M25×1.5, Ø13–18 mm)
    • For many thin cables choose HT-50 (36× Ø3.5–5.5 mm) for the same Ø50 mm hole
    • The membrane does not provide strain relief – secure cables inside the enclosure
    • It is not a fire barrier

    Safety and installation notes

    • Work only with the voltage switched off and its absence verified.
    • Cut the Ø50 mm hole cleanly, remove swarf and burrs that could cut the grommet.
    • One cable – one cone; cut the cone at the step slightly smaller than the cable Ø.
    • Secure the power cable inside with a clamp or holder so that tension is not transferred to the terminals.
