Cable entry plate for two heavy cables | 216×100 mm | 2× Ø14–64 mm | black | IP65 | HIK-2
HIK-2 is a cable entry plate with two identical large entries, each for a cable Ø14–64 mm. It is intended where heavy power cables enter and leave a board. The plate is screwed to the enclosure with four screws through Ø10 mm holes.
Key point:
When two thick cables have to enter a board – for example, the mains supply and an outgoing cable to another building – two separate large glands take up a lot of space and need two large openings. HIK-2 fits both cables into one 216×100 mm plate. Both entries are identical, so it does not matter which side takes the incoming and which the outgoing cable.Plate

IP65How it works
Installation: make an opening in the enclosure and fix the plate with four screws through the Ø10 mm holes.
Operation: cut each entry's cone at a step slightly smaller than the cable's outer Ø and push the cable through – the elastic material wraps around it.
Result: two heavy cables through one enclosure opening, the entry protected to IP65, an unused entry stays closed.
Why choose HIK-2?
HIK-2 lets two thick cables share one standard plate instead of two large glands. The wide Ø14–64 mm range covers most heavy power cables, so the same item suits different sites.Technical specifications

- Two large entries Ø14–64 mm – two heavy cables through one plate.
- Identical entries – no need to think which entry suits which cable.
- Wide range – from medium to very thick power cables.
- IP65 sealing – protection against dust and water jets.
- Spare capacity – if only one cable is needed for now, the second entry stays closed.
- Fixing with 4 screws – the plate is pressed evenly against the enclosure.
Where is it used?
- Building incoming boards with an incoming and outgoing cable
- Through-feed distribution boards (cable to another building)
- Boards with generator backup supply
- Supply boards for EV charging points
- AC connection boards of solar power plants
- Power boards of industrial equipment
Use by need
For the network designer.
Incoming and through-feed outgoing cable in one plate – a simpler layout at the bottom of the board. For the power cable installer.
One enclosure opening for two thick cables – less cutting and fewer sealing points. For the building manager.
If a second cable is needed later, the spare entry is already there – no need to cut the enclosure again.Practical use
If a building board has to take an incoming cable (sheath Ø about 30 mm) and an outgoing cable to a yard building (about Ø22 mm), cut one entry's cone at a step slightly smaller than 30 mm and the other at a step slightly smaller than 22 mm. Fix both cables inside the board with clamps.Pros
- Two heavy cables through one enclosure opening
- Wide Ø14–64 mm range for both entries
- IP65 protection
- Operating temperature −40…+100 °C
- The second entry can stay as a spare
Cons / limitations
- Only two entries – if thin cables are needed as well, choose HIK-1.
- The plate does not provide strain relief – cables must be fixed inside the board.
- For cables above Ø64 mm – HTX-1 (one cable Ø55–70 mm).
- For cables with pre-fitted ends (connectors) the splitting Morek MBA4N28B11 is more convenient.
Safety and installation notes
- Before working in the board, switch off the voltage and verify its absence.
- Remove swarf after cutting the opening – it can get into devices or onto busbars.
- Cut the cone step by step while measuring the cable's outer Ø – an oversized hole cannot be undone.
- A separate entry for each cable; never pass two cables through one cone.
- Fix heavy cables inside the board – their weight and pull must not rest on the plate.
Quick selection guide
216×100 mm2 entriesØ14–64 mmIP65Suitable when you need:- Two heavy power cables through one opening
- A spare entry for a second cable
- IP65 protection at the entry point
Check before use:- The outer diameters of both cables
- Whether a 216×100 mm plate fits on the enclosure
- How the cables will be fixed inside the board
Important reminder: HIK-2 seals the entry point, but it is not a fire barrier and does not replace cable strain relief.FAQ
